VANITY: Christians Need To Place Floats or March in Every gay Parade. When Denied entry, sue, etc

I am so old I recall the gay movement starting off with it's no one's business what occurs in the bedroom.

And they did not want to be an in your face movement.

Well , we now see that what occurs in the bedroom is now demanding to occur in public and they are very much an in everyone's face movement.

Time for push back.

Christians need to enter all gay parades to represent Christ's views.

Have a prayer float.

And IF denied entry use the same tactics gays use : pressure corporations and use the courts.

Turn about is fair play - but - would a Christian identify with a gay parade? I can think of some great floats to go with it.

The straight and proud float concept congers up some strange animal house type float ideas in my fertile but sick brain.

And yet there are still some FReepers who think "What two consenting adults do in the privacy of their own bedroom is not my business."

They've gone beyond being silly and naive about the issue to being downright GUILTY.

There is a TV series I enjoy, “The Artful Detective”. It is set in Toronto in the 1890s and is so charming. Last week Det. Murdoch solved a murder when he discovered some photographs depicting a suspect engaged in “the crime that we dare not mention”, i.e. homosexual relations. That is where I’d like it to be — the crime we dare not mention. NOT paraded in front of the whole world and our children.

Yeah, like a traditional marriage ceremony to counter the gay caper at the Rose Parade.

The "sue" part wouldn't work. Almost 20 years ago, the U.S. Supreme Court held in Hurley v. Irish-American Gay & Lesbian Group that parade organizers have a First Amendment right to exclude groups from their parades. That is why gays are not suing any St. Patrick's Day parades now.

What gays are doing is pressuring politicians not to march in those parades and pressuring corporations not to sponsor them. (In other words, they are using their own First Amendment rights.) That is certainly a tactic Christians could use.

The Christians will be arrested for a hate crime.

The bastards will try to make that happen.

Regardless, it’s a good idea.

Practicing homosexuals constitute only about two percent of the population, yet in their campaign to force their lifestyle on the whole country, they manage to win every battle. Maybe it’s time for the good guys to adopt some of their tactics.

Anita Bryant was right.

In the 1970’s she warned us that the homosexuals wouldn’t be satisfied with mere decriminalization and they destroyed her for it.

For those who don’t know who she is, Anita was one of the first victims of the homosexual attack machine against anyone who stands in their way. At the height of her career, success and popularity, the homosexuals directed their fury at her and she lost almost everything.

Anita Bryant (born 3/25/1940) was just about as close to being the All-American Girl as you could get.

She is a singer, a former Miss Oklahoma beauty pageant winner, a mom and as outspoken critic of homosexuality.

Anita placed a total of 11 songs on the U.S. Hot 100 and had four Top 40 hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s, including “Paper Roses,” which reached #5.

In 1969 she became a spokeswoman for the Florida Citrus Commission, and nationally televised commercials featured her singing “Come to the Florida Sunshine Tree”.

She sang “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” during the graveside services for Lyndon B. Johnson in 1973, and performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl III in 1969.

She later became known for her strong opposition to homosexuality and for her campaigning in 1977 to repeal a local ordinance in Dade County, Florida, that prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation.

The homosexual; lobby mounted a non-stop, vicious attack on her that destroyed her career and drove her into bankruptcy and divorce.

They started a boycott of Florida Orange Juice because of her opposition to the homosexual agenda. Due to the controversy and impact on sales her contract with the Florida Citrus Commission was allowed to lapse in 1979.

Any Christian marching in one of those sodomite parades should wear a HAZMAT suit. I am not joking. The Christians will be spit on.

My gosh, I'd forgotten. Makes sense, though; why you NEVER hear one of her songs on the radio any more.
