Don’t “delay” it. Kill it! Delaying it for a year only gives the supporting pols cover and more time to think-up better lies to tell us. Freakin’ weasels.
The delay isn't a complete cave. One year expires October 1, 2014, just a little more than a month before the next election.
Maybe a delay would give them cover or maybe it will give serious opponents time to fight back. If we could only get some fighters in the 2014 race, people who know how to battle the left’s rhetoric.
Anyway, I think it’s better than nothing.
Strategy is: Delay for a year, until a month before the election. Conservatives will again be harangued with the old standby argument, if you don’t vote for RINO-Repub, Obamacare becomes the law! Tea Party candidate is a nice guy but he/she just can’t win! You MUST hold your nose, just this one more time, and re-elect the RINO.

The only way to get the vast majority of the Bush Tax cuts made permanent was by delaying their ending. I think that is the strategy and why the Rats are fighting so hard.

Say it loud and often, the delay is a SCAM that would let ObamaCare move forward and the democrats would not suffer for the failure that it will surely be, until after the election. The Republicans can not be that stupid, the only logical answer is they are secretly for this disaster.

Boehner is a horrible negotiator. He’s starting negotiating by giving BHO nearly everything he wants. Way to go NOT. Boehner is just another GOP-e member who has already surrendered to BHO. The best we can do because of spineless Boehner is a one year delay and knowing Boehner he’ll give in even further! Purge RINOs from the GOP in 2014!!
