I just heard from a guy on cspan that Boner will submit a third cr with an amendment to cancel the congressional waiver when Reid kicks the current one back. He will do it at the last minute. Did anyone else hear this? Was on cspan 1 at about 6:00.

You have to delay in order to know what the delay is about...

“OR WE WILL SHUT IT DOWN”

Why are the Republicans saying they will take responsibility for a shutdown? Pass the fricken bill and let Reid and Obama take the blame by rejecting it for crying out loud. It’s on THEM...not us...

Interesting if true.

Upping the ante.

Let the Democrats go on record defending their special exemptions.

I’m not sure why that’s the title on Drudge but when you read the statement the quote from Boehner is “We will do our job and send this bill over, and then it’s up to the Senate to pass it and stop a government shutdown.”

You missed the point. It would be a cave. There would be no delay in Obamacare. It will happen after Reid sends back the current CR.

The guest on Cspan1 stated that Boener has a plan to submit a third CR tomorrow or Monday WITHOUT the current amendments. The only amendment to the CR would be to cancel the congressional waiver. Obamacare would not be delayed and device tax would not be cancelled. The speaker thinks it will be nevessary to prevent a gov shutdown. If someone has recorded cspan1 after 5:30pm you could vetify.

That would explain why he did not include cancellation of the congressional waiver in the current CR.

If Reid sends it back, which he will, exactly what else can Boehner do? I think it’s a great idea to send a third bill that makes the Senate at least own up to its acts and may make people wonder why, if Obamacare is so great, nobody in government wants it for themselves.

After 4 years, it is still a majority and it is a determined majority at that, those who vote.

Our choice is to either accept that the people are capable of learning or give up. Looks to me like you've given up.

the Democrats who are running (espically in Red States) are asked being asked to take it in the neck for them, like Clinton did with his tax hike in 94.

Looking for disadvantage gets you nothing but disadvantage. Look at what Cruz has done. His accomplishments so far are not because he believed that he was beaten. Grow up and get to work. This is no time for whining.

Let Reid shut it down. Obamacare must be cancelled or at least delayed.

I believe you. These congressmen and senators have the “drama” all planned. They are such heroes.

A pox on all of their houses.

Yes, exactly. I don’t think the Senate is going to vote for to having to go under Obamacare themselves, but it would be so hard for them to justify this to the American people that they may well vote to delay it for a year.

By that time, those GOPers who voted in favor do Obamacare earlier may have been primaried out, and the opposition will have coalesced enough to give some guts to the others.

I read that something like only 28% of the American people are in favor of the program.

Boehner is a horrible negotiator. He’s starting negotiating by giving BHO nearly everything he wants. Way to go NOT. Boehner is just another GOP-e member who has already surrendered to BHO. The best we can do because of spineless Boehner is a one year delay and knowing Boehner he’ll give in even further! Purge RINOs from the GOP in 2014!!
