Makes sense if what you care about is yourself, and feathering your own nest. Keep the controversies boiling and win elections. If they cared about the Republic, they might be gone at the end of their term along with many others. Good explanation.
Regarding the smoke-and-mirrors that we’re getting from DC concerning Obamacare, please consider the following. I don’t know if this is possible in the 2014 election cycle, but as I’ve mentioned in related threads, if patriots can get off of their couches on election day and elect 2/3 majority conservatives in both Houses of Congress then we’ll have the following situtation.
Conservative supermajority control of Congress will give Congress the power, under the Constitution’s Clause 2 of Section 7 of Article I, to override presidential vetoes. So Congress could have the power to repeal constitutionally indefensible Obamacare after 2014 elections without Obama’s signature if patriots can get their acts together before that time.
Now if the government is not ready to implement Obamacare as Obama wants it, doesn’t it make sense that he would be GLAD that the Republicans are offering delay it a year rather than defund it as We The People asked them to?
If Obama knows the govt is not ready to implement Obamacare, isn’t he better off “allowing” dumbass Boehner to call for the “delay” and giving Obama extra time to send out his minions to sign people up and get on his bandwagon?
Didn’t they all agree to fund the government again until December now? I thought I heard that on Fox.
the understanding was that they have a separate bill to fund just the military personnel till mid-Dec.
Okay that makes more sense to me.
