There’s crazy paranoia - baseless fear - and then there’s fear because there really are evil people out to get people.
IMHO this is a case of fear because of what he found out, and he knew they were after him.

I wonder if Hastings was one of the reporters who received the information from Glenn Beck - the proof that the spooks had ID’ed the “Saudi person of interest” as known terrorist Hamza, the son of Osama Bin Laden but the “known terrorist” classification was removed after Obama met privately with the Saudi ambassador. Instead of arresting the guy and bringing him to justice, Michelle Obama visited him in the hospital so the entire Muslim world could feel the love from this regime and gloat in America’s face, and then the guy was rush-deported so the Boston police couldn’t bring him to justice.
Russia’s amnesty for Snowden is piddles compared to what Barack and Michelle Obama PERSONALLY did for the guy they knew to be the son of Bin Laden who had sworn to get revenge on his father’s death, had planned the Boston marathon bombing, and was caught red-handed by an alert onlooker and the Boston Police at the finish line.
The media people know this. Glenn Beck sent them the information from the spooks who kept the proof of what had happened.
Being threatened is no excuse. The media has no excuse. They are in bed with the regime that is in bed with Bin Laden’s son Hamza, who is in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood, who is in bed with Huma Abedin, who is in bed with Hillary, who is arming the terrorists and watching while her own ambassador is killed...
Words can’t even describe the filth of this regime and all those aiding and abetting it.
The blood of the Benghazi victims, the SEAL Team 6 victims, the Boston bombing victims, and all those killed or wounded by the weapons we’ve given terrorists cry out for vengeance. Is there nobody with an ounce of honor in our Congress?
Mesta did an analysis of a bunch of stuff including body/facial metrics and concluded that the Saudi who was in the hospital was Hamza.
It creeped me out to read that, just flat gave me the creeps.

As for the reporters "car crash", the details don't add up. Strange.

Well, the Saudi in the hospital showed up later (at the White House party) as seen at The Blaze.
So you’re telling me (and I’m not challenging you on this at all) that the Saudi in question, at the White House, is Bin Laden’s son, HAMZA?
That’s what Mesta said, and she assured us that she is qualified to do this kind of analysis. It also explains Glenn Beck’s claims that there was a game-changer - that Obama should come out and tell the American public before it was exposed through others. When the White House didn’t respond he sent the information to the media, saying it would be better for it to come from them. Reporters wrote up articles but the media heads wouldn’t allow them to run.
Because this guy was in the hospital they must have his DNA which could easily prove who he is. Beck broke the story of the “known terrorist” classification being removed and teased that they know who did it. Ten Congressmen have all this information, as well as all the major media people, if I’m understanding correctly. Beck also broke stories about this guy visiting the White House before the Boston bombing and about him being at the military Independence Day celebration at the White House. Beck hasn’t come out and said that he is Bin Laden’s son, but Hardraade mentioned that the DHS(?) was shortly thereafter trying to find out whether the spooks were buying Beck’s claim that it was Bin Laden’s son.

Of those 3 Saudis sneaking around together within 50 feet of 1 explosion site, GREY SWEATSHIRT SAUDI looks exactly to me like a “young Bin Laden.”
The feds grabbed at least TWO (2) Saudis the week of the Boston Marathon bombing (Glenn Beck alerted viewers to two, but didn’t show any info about #2).
One of them was HAMZA, but the feds made a big stink about ALHARBI in the hospital, staging photo ops w/Saudi Foreign Minister AND then Michele Obama.
Why would they draw attention to a Saudi that Obamatollah was sneakily/hurriedly trying to ‘deport’ before the bombing could get investigated?
b/c they were covering something WORSE: The OTHER Saudi they grabbed.... HAMZA BIN LADEN.
It was a bait-and-switch. I realized this after posting all 5 or 6 hospital photos of ALHARBI, the skinny little one with the “severely burned hands.” THERE WERE NO HAND BURNS VISIBLE, and he was always smiling, and looked like he’d won the lottery.
Yet the Saudi tackled and dragged to the hospital had severe hand burns and ‘back-of-leg shrapnel’ according to all reports (before the Story-Change-A-Rama began, switching to a new story DAILY FOR APPROX 6 DAYS).
That’s how you know when Marxists/Moslems are in charge — they cannot fake a story that holds any water, so they change it 99 times right in front of 300 Million americans going “Um, they’re changing their story AGAIN???”
Examples:
FBI shot that moslem in back of head during “midnight questioning” at his Orlando apartment. Knife, then no knife... lunged, then didn’t lunge..... grabbed a bat, then didn’t grab a bat....

HASTINGS explodes, then a week later, 2 cops are ambushed at same time of night on SAME STREET in the police station driveway.

I have read this entire thread in an attempt to figure out what is going on and have concluded that Free Republic is now part of an ongoing conspiracy to make Americans believe that Rolling Stone ever printed the work of a journalist.
Here’s a recent example pf RS Journalism from a piece on Hernandez:
“Hernandez’s security cams show him with what looks like a Glock .45 in hand, pacing in his living room.”
Now tell me please what does a Glock FORTY FIVE look like on a security camera? Hmm?
