This has the capacity to affect the election, not in Obama's favor.

My favorite quote on the Sandy coverage today - a weatherman pointing at a map of Staten Island, and saying, “Staten Island is virtually surrounded by water...”

Sandy could help delivery Pennsylvania to Romney, as the pro-Obama masses on the eastern end of the state, Philadelphia, are bogged down in recovery, but the Pro-Romney forces on the West, Pittsburgh & surrounding areas, are unaffected and go vote.

BTW, I found a cool link under this Business Insider article to a bunch of New York City livecams, for those who want to follow this storm’s progress:

"it is now poised to strike the northeast United States with a combination of track, size, structure and strength that is unprecedented in the known historical record there.."

Know this - An angel is directing this storm. If the voters of what is supposed to be a God worshiping America won't purge the filth and scum of the Democrat Party from Washington D.C., then there will no longer be an America. Clinton was the second to the last chance. Obama is the last chance.

It will delay the election if it is as bad as it looks. Can’t vote with no electric voting machines and flooded out voting stations. Can’t get to the polls with the roads clogged with water/snow/ice and debris and subways closed down.

It will give the left great opportunity for extra special voter fraud. But at the same time, Obama will not be able to centrally control the recovery like liberals think the Federal government can do.

If that happens, the meaning of delays and shortages of labor and materials in socialism will come to the forefront in very unhappy ways for millions of liberals. Liberals will meet the incompetence and untender mercies of Obama’s DHS police state pervert culture, too. :(

I pray this storm breaks up and spares our people in the Northeast. No way I would stay around or go to a FEMA shelter during this storm.

I’m thinking it could go either way:

a) Rain and inconvenience might help repubs

b) Large storm impacts could drum up Global Warming Hate Speech against the repubs and thus favor democraps.

Recall Romney is for Oil, Coal and Nuclear.

Why do you think it’s not in Obama’s favor?

There was some black guy who’s either a anchorman or weather man on CNN had some book on his desk while the camera was showing him and his desk and the book next to his PC monitor that said “ Leadership “ ..... what’s up with that ?

Especially since the track of the storm is going to have the eye of the storm head right towards Philly.

The places this storm will impact is most of Pennsyvannia, north east and south east PA.
Philly.
Delaware.
Jew Jersey.
New York City, Long Island.
New York State.
New England.

Agree.

It is aimed at dumbocrap strongholds. It might keep away the multiple voters.

Not to make light or minimize the risk to people in the storm’s path- it was just funny to read the hysteria and then the bit about the beach erosion. “we’re all gonna die and the beaches eroded too!”

FEMA is on the way! That means if you need help, you get diddly squat.

In Houston, we have to unload the FEMA water trucks by ourselves, gummit works 8 to 5 only.

FEMA said on weather channel use social media when the power goes out. Mmmm k.

My advice: get water and hunker. Eat everything in the freezer when it thaws. Get a good book and stay warm and dry.

I already heard an idiot, I think in Maine, saying that this should result in delaying the election a few weeks.

I think we may have been hyped. I went to weather.com and pulled up the five day forecast for DC. NY, Boston, Binghamton,NY and York,Pa.

In none of the forecasts was there any suggestion of flooding or rains over 1 inch, or of winds over 40 miles per hour. One would think if the world were coming to an end due to weather, it would show up somewhere in the local forecast.
