What say you to the king? He deemeth that thou shalt buy insurance, or face the wrath of a dictator scorn.
You ready to stand on your feet? Or are you living on your knees?
I’m disabled and on SSDI.
What happens to folks on Medicare ,, SSA ,,, how will they be effected ?
We’re not buying it. Period. I imagine Wyoming will opt out of it anyway.
I won’t buy it. Count me in as the poster child for non-compliance.
let me know if the state does. i’m torn between mt and wy to move to.
My employer requires me to purchase the company plan as a condition of employment. Since it is an agreement into which I freely entered, I don’t have a problem with it.
Until this thing is fully and 100% repealed, I say we do all that we can to bankrupt our own Government; they obviously don't have me and mine or yours in mind.
I figure my state, KY, will opt out. It’s one of the reasons I move here (the attitude here, not the specific decision).
The fine goes up every year. They only need a few years to drive the insurance companies out of business.
I already started hearing on the corporate-government news channels how “MOST Americans” will have to buy it. What happened to “ALL Americans”? This must be b/c all the special groups, e.g. Muslims and the lazy, will be exempt. Meanwhile, the suckers like we who still have private sector jobs, will be unable to afford private insurance on top of this new “tax.” So, when we become seriously ill, it’s off to the deathcamps with us.
And no, after my corporation stops offering it, I’m not buying government-death.
I can’t afford it. My employer offers it, but pays nothing towards it themselves (I don’t think they should, either). Still, it’s out of my reach.
The more people refuse to comply, the more it bolsters the left’s argument for universal coverage. They will lump non-compilers in with the rest of the uninsured, and then force everyone into a single-payer system. In a sense, they’ve made is so that non-compliance plays right into their hands.
I buy my insurance on the private market. I do so for my own personal economic reasons.
I think the best action we can take is to elect conservatives and try to repeal or neuter Obamacare.
I get my insurance through my company, which belongs to my family. I suppose I will wait it out and see what happens and how long they are able to carry me. After that, I probably will not buy it.
Since I am insured through mr p6’s employer it won’t matter unless she loses her job...which I believe will happen. She works for a company that expidites other companies insurance claims.
When that happens...
COME AND GET ME COPPER!
I’m not buying sheat.
I’m going to default on my mortgage, go on food stamps, declare bankruptcy, secure a disability settlement, and let honest, productive, private sector Americans support my dead-assed, lazy carcass.
Its the new American way.
—Until this thing is fully and 100% repealed, I say we do all that we can to bankrupt our own Government; they obviously don’t have me and mine or yours in mind.—
That’s pretty much my take as well. Taxable income is poison.
Isn’t health care free now?
My insurance is through Kaiser Permanente, had them for as long as I can remember, I will NEVER comply with Obamacare, Obama and his cronies can kiss my ass

I would wager that the vast majority of FReepers already have health coverage that they pay for. I doubt very many will cancel it in protest.
Rush said that IRS has hired 16,000 new agents to primarily come after people who do not buy.
Not much if you are currently on or ready to go on these plans..though your premiums will continue to go up each year.
Younger people such as myself will probably not get medicare/SSA until age 70 or later.
Don’t buy? Pay the tax.
Don’t pay the Tax? Tax lien on your house.
Sell your house? Not until you pay off the lien.
We won’t even talk about wage garnishment.
I am an impoverished senior citizen, a widow, and just lost my home. And I will NOT submit. At least in jail I am guaranteed three hots and a cot.
And healthcare.
Since you have insurance through Kaiser, you are already in compliance.
Let them come. Perhaps it will be my case that comes before the SCOTUS when it is forced to revisit this “tax.”
“This must be b/c all the special groups, e.g. Muslims and the lazy, will be exempt”
And don’t forget ILLEGALS. They are already exempt from certain “laws” and since this is a tax issue, I doubt that their participation will be required of them at all.
No, we won’t buy it. We can’t afford it, no matter what the SCOTUS says. We had to drop it this year when our payments went to 1050.00 a month, and that was just for my hubby. I don’t have any insurance. We pay out of pocket for his meds and doctor appointments.
I kept hearing that same phrase all morning long at the top of every hour. "Most Americans" will have to buy health insurance. WTF?
“Thats pretty much my take as well. Taxable income is poison.”
That’s the way I see it. I lost my job last year and this will stop me from looking any further.
“Rush said that IRS has hired 16,000 new agents to primarily come after people who do not buy.”

FURTHER evidence still, that the out of control American Marxist government has declared war on its BEST citizens.
I wonder if we will ever return fire.....
I will not. There is no enforcement mechanism.
Should the law still be in effect in 2014, we will not buy. Life is about choices, and this is one of ours.
I’m on SSI and Disability but not medicare.(won’t qualify till next yr). From what I hear the government will have access to our bank accounts,so they will probably take the funds out. If I have a choice I WILL NOT Buy this garbage. I also heard a portion of the money paid will go to support abortions.I will go to jail before I support baby killers. If I’m wrong please respond. May God have mercy upon the U.S.A.
Thank you, exactly — top of the hour!!! The entire time I fought against this, in protests, letters, etc., it was always “ALL”!!!!! Not like “all” makes it any better, but now we’ll see the usual insult to injury — such as how only approx. half of us pay income tax.
Why do the people who think 9/11 was an inside job and hate the police want government healthcare? The same people running the 9/11 coverup and the corrupt police will be in charge of healthcare.
It does not matter. Deathcare is here. Medicare is refusing “unnecessary” medical procedures (that are necessary) even if you can raise the money and pay cash. My Wife (Neurologist) reported this week a case of this. The only solution is the ballot box and in particular the Senate.
Has anyone noticed the intersection of this decision—complete with its dire implications for religious liberty—with the feast of the 2nd Century Martyr Irenaeus of Lyons and the eve of the feast of the martyrdom of the great Apostles Peter and Paul?
Too many believed that that is the case.
And, it actually will be if you’re in the “select few” that will get vouchers. These groups will be democrat voters.
“The fine goes up every year.”
The employers will dump their provided insurance and the individual will be forced into the insurance pools. The insurers will reap a short term bonanza and then be forced out of business as an inevitable single payer becomes necessary. The insurers think they can maneuver these waters. They can’t IMHO.
Tax money & private insurance is ALREADY supporting abortions. Every insurance carrier has paid for abortion for years.
part of 0bamacare is increased funding for baby killing
I ain’t paying
What about the 50 million “illegals”????? They don’t pay for insurance now. Will they be fined, deported, or continue getting it for free????
They’ll get while the gettin’s good,
then go bankrupt, leaving many greatly enriched,
and the rest of us devoid of any choice but a government plan.
Harry ,,,, I’m no sure I understand what you are saying here .
The only reason they go there is that 2% get called up and go to court ~ all the others are settled through a variety of procedures before they get to where they need to bother a judge.
There are no such procedures with the IRS enforcement requirement for ObamaKKKare penalties. Given current problems with bills in this country ~ it is conceivable we could have well over 1,000,000 people NOT paying their Obamatax on their insurance payment requirement.
I think that could easily collapse the entire federal judiciary.
It is not likely IRS can go to this Congress and get more funds for more agents than they already have, nor will the DOJ get more money for the lawyers needed to handle these cases, nor will there be any more courts created to handle them.
Worse, it is unlikely that any Republican House majority would go along with approving any sort of shot-circuit for this litigative disaster.
Plus, they aren't going to build more prisons for more people who didn't pay their IRS fines.
