Newt Trails Obama by Only 7 Points in Latest Rasmussen Tracking Poll (or It's Not Over Yet).
Vanity | April 21, 2012 | True Believer

Posted on 04/21/2012 8:08:35 PM PDT by true believer forever

In the lastest Rasmussen tracking poll, which has had no media coverage, Newt Gingrich is trailing Barack Obama by only 7 points nationally. Barack Obama is leading Mitt Romney by only 5 points in Florida. These poll results are being withheld by the RNC and the MSM, who want no positive news about Newt in circulation, especially the fact he is only behind Obama by 7 points nationally.

The RNC establishment’s current strategy remains: Publish no poll numbers; spread the word that Romney is the nominee; have people vote based on blackout and misinformation expecting Romney to win big; then hit hard with Romney’s wins and Newt’s losses to bully Newt into dropping.

Please do yourself the honor of reviewing actual polls by doing a Google search for “2012 Republican presidential polls (name state)” and you will see why the RNC is using this tactic. Then spread the word!

Obama with the dem-media complex, millions of dollars, sycophants everywhere in the media, versus Mitt Romney with the entire conservative media capitulated behind him, his millions, and NEWTON LEROY GINGRICH is only 7 points behind Obama in the lastest Rasmussen tracking?

Be sad then but you should be sad that you have sold out your principles.

I have no reason to engage a debate with Romney supporters because they all think the same:

“Either you vote for Bullsh*t or you’re going to get Chicken sh*t.”

And so I say to such Romney supporters:

“Eat Sh*t and Die!”

I believe that the criminal GOP is only concerened with locking the Senate in 2012. The senate and house will make zero a hero in the next 4 years much like they did with bubba at the expence of what ever is left of the American people and it’s spirit. We are being dragged over thier finish line whether we like it or not.

The powers that be won’t be happy with this news. It’s not playing out how they planned. Guaranteed that something is going to happen to “fix” it and we’ll be stuck with Mitt R’Obamalite.

I’m just sad - sad that so many of you seem to be willing to abandon Mitt in the general. I was for Sarah Palin on November 4, 2008. I later donated and campaigned for Cain, and then for Bachmann. You might deny it but I have the cred. I walked the walk. And you are talking about campaigning for Obama. Oh yes you are! You’re not saying that but you are talking about voting against Romney in the general. All of you who do so are are freaking Obama supporters.

DREAM ON

Gear up or go back to sleep. Lethargy is a sure loser - at least some folks are willing to hope and act on the hope.

If Gingerich-Santorum had been announced a month ago, there may have been some real traction.

Now is not the time to make the decision to support Romney. The tactic of, if you don’t support Romney you’re supporting obama, is another attempt to undermine the support of other Conservative candidates and those who proclaim now, yeah I’ll vote for Romney are one of the reasons Romney has the attitude of to hell with conservatives, they’ll vote for me anyway. I’m for Newt as long as he says he’s in and then I’ll be for any one but Romney. IF Romney gets the nomination or the FIRM 1144 delegates, I’ll reassess my position and examine ALL alternatives.

I’d happily vote for Noot instead of Rodney, but I won’t be voting for Ubama even if Rodney is the nominee.

My sincere apologies the inadvertent double post.

That said, love or hate Newt (and there's no question he's a gifted speaker), he's not going to win the nomination. His campaign at this point is little more than a glorified book tour to bolster a career in political punditry.

[ Defeatism is not how wars are won. ]

Defeatism is not even considered by PollyAnna’s...
Because they play the “GLAD GAME”...

The truth “IS” democrats have been smarter than republicans..
Thats WHY Romney is due to be republican candidate..

WHEN... everybody KNOWS Newt is “THE ONE”..
AND why republicans generally could care less about “Voter fraud”..
If O’Really and Dennis Miller are examples thats why we are losing.. i.e. PollyAnnas..

If this trend continues, any of the GOP Primary candidates would have been able to win in November.

The FNC Sunday morning talking head show crowd is breaking out in a cold sweat. Their anointed one isn’t breaking out, despite their premature concerted efforts to paint him as the nominee. Conservatives don’t want mittens and neither do independents.
