Mask Coming Off Coordinated Administration Deception On Guns
Ammoland ^ | 19 March, 2012 | David Codrea

USA --(Ammoland.com)- “We need to do this every day of the week and just really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way,” then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder advocated in a 1995 C-SPAN video that surfaced over the weekend on Breitbart.com and has since gone viral in the gun activist community.

Comparing it to the way government helped create a stigma for smoking, Holder bragged “Now we have people who cower outside of buildings and kind of smoke in private and don’t want to admit it.”

This was consistent with the administration talking points message being promulgated through another branch of government at that time:

Dr. Mark Rosenberg, Director of the CDC’s National Center for Injury Control and Prevention (NCIPC) in 1994 told The Washington Post: “We need to revolutionize the way we look at guns, like what we did with cigarettes. Now it [sic] is dirty, deadly, and banned.”

That a fundamental right is treated as a stigmatized vice should be no surprise—after all, the White House makes no secret of how they wish for us to perceive it, and how they will lie to us to ensure that perception:

The Second Amendment gives citizens the right to bear arms.

“Lie” is not too strong a word. They know that’s not a true statement.

The anti-smoking crusade was never really about health. It was always about control and forced behavior modification, and gave the tyrants any number of legal precedents they can now employ against any endeavor or activity they so choose.

They knew the ploy’s wouldn’t last. They underestimated how long it would hold up.

Everything the Obama administration tries blows up in their faces. You would think that multitudes of Obamanites would be abandoning ship on a daily basis.

Exactly.

Try explaining that to people. People do not believe in freedom, they only think they do. They've been conditioned to think they are free, and to think they want to be free, when in fact they do not.

If you will not stand up for your neighbor's right to allow smoking in his own bar, or his own truck-stop cafe, then the precedent is in place and no one will be able to stick up for you when its your turn to face the machine.

National healthcare still looks pretty strong.
So do gas prices.
So do the closing of 50 pefectly good and desperately needed power plants.

Need more? there are hundreds.

The only thing holding the administration together is the support of the main stream media. But, the administration would never have been elected without their active support.

No doubt. Reading the news how they caught the guy and let him go was just another painful reminder that F&F was never about catching criminals.

Ah, and how did they accomplish that without the mainstream media? ... oops, my bad. We got the media and lawyers to thank for all this.

As a former smoker (not antismoker, I hasten to add) I have to agree. It’s about control. I remember the antismoking PSA offensive hit fever pitch in the 1970’s when they screamed “thirty percent of smokers will die of lung cancer!!”

No math major but I deduced that this meant that seventy percent of smokers would not die of lung cancer. Well, shazaam!

I quit because I made a personal decision. That’s all.

With all the whacked-out, radical, anti-American crap that comes out of these scumbags’ mouths when they’re on tape, one has to wonder about all the radical, anti-American crap they say when they’re NOT on tape.
