The last debate before the January 3rd Iowa caucuses is being held tonight in Sioux City.
We get seven candidates at this debate: Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum and Jon Huntsman.
Fox's Bret Baier anchors the debate. Fox News panelists questioning the candidates: Chris Wallace, Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto.
I'm not a big fan, but I acknowledge that he is smart and polished enough to always land on his feet.
It's not just you. Inside 'gotcha' questions are the stuff journalists live for - for them it's all horse race. As citizens we'd like to know how our candidates feel about things that matter to our lives as citizens of this country.

Newt owned 3 consulting companies..one in Atlanta, one in DC and one in St Louis. He had a staff of around 30 plus...he had expenses to meet..the 1.6 million was paid to his consulting business over a period of years and is LESS THAN MOST CONSULTANTS MAKE. chump change and nothing wrong or illegal with making a living. Free enterprise you know

15 trillion in debt...National balance sheet adds up to 62 trillion...We’re doing good! It’s good news.
Michelle is Mitt’s buffer. She tried taking down Perry, then Cain and now Newt.
And NEVER attacks Mitt and never attacked his romonycare - mitt brought her in - she has NO accomplishments! I don’t care she speaks the conservative rhetoric - she’s a pawn for Mitt.
Bachmann needs to talk about what she can do to lead, rather than continuing to tapdance on Newt for taking work from Freddie Mac.
She won’t, because she can’t lead.

Thank goodness Chris Wallace showed up to get everyone hammering Newt on Fannie - because we’ve all been listening to news sources since 2008 when it all broke focus on Newt since then....wait. We were all focused on Fwank and Dodd and Freddie/Fannie. Yet all we got was Newt and his role as a consultant with them. Jeeze.
