And this folks is why I love Newt - and hate Newt. One day his brain ranges a certain direction comes up with Palestinians are a manufactured people. The next day his brain ranges in a different direction and ends up on the couch with Nancy Pelosi.
Hate to use the Forrest Gump analogy, but Newt really is like a box of chocolates. A very brilliant, undisciplined mind.
He’s really a carbon copy of Churchill who was hated by his fellow countryman until he was the man of the hour in WWII.
We need someone like that now who can put us and the rest of the God forsaken world to understand who we are and where we came from.
Obama’s Kansas “lecture” put it all in real perspective. If this imposter in the WH wishes to debabte it then let’s here from what history lesson he basis his idea that we are not a nation of doers.

In recent history the area called Palestine includes the territories of present day Israel and Jordan (see map above. For earlier history of the term see article). From 1517 to 1917 most of this area remained under the rule of the Ottoman Empire.
Ottoman Empire was dissolved at the end of World War I. Its successor, modern republic of Turkey, transferred Palestine to British Empire control under the Lausanne agreement that followed WW I.
In 1917 Great Britain issued the Balfour Declaration for “the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people”. In 1922 Britain allocated nearly 80% of Palestine to Transjordan. Thus, Jordan covers the majority of the land of Palestine under British Mandate. Jordan also includes the majority of the Arabs who lived there. In other words, Jordan is the Arab portion of Palestine.
The residents of Palestine are called “Palestinians”. Since Palestine includes both modern day Israel and Jordan both Arab and Jewish residents of this area were referred to as “Palestinians”.
It was only after the Jews re-inhabited their historic homeland of Judea and Samaria, that the myth of an Arab Palestinian nation was created and marketed worldwide. Jews come from Judea, not Palestinians. There is no language known as Palestinian, or any Palestinian culture distinct from that of all the Arabs in the area. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. “Palestinians” are Arabs indistinguishable from Arabs throughout the Middle East. The great majority of Arabs in greater Palestine and Israel share the same culture, language and religion.

We know they are invented. So why the hel# do we continue to send them REAL taxpayer dollars. Has to be in the billions. Thanks to the last and current administration, we continue to import these invented people to the US.

We can only ‘Force” when we reclaim hegemony—our own independence to oil and again are a manufacturing powerhouse, then we can destroy their only source of wealth (oil) and make them totally dependent. They starve or take the refugees.

Beyond what you’ve written, which is all true, the “Palestinian Arabs” are the Arabs that none of the other Arab countries want and further, they have become a “convenient foil” for the Arab World to screw with Israel. The Palestinians have allowed themselves to believe that they have been disenfranchised from “Palestine” and the rest of the Arabs have fed that notion to help to try and defeat Israel. The truth of the matter is that the Arab World regards the Palestinians as worthless crap that they don’t want to care for.
And if you really want to start going down that road, you can just as easily claim that "American" is an invention, a group of disparate immigrant groups amalgamated by sole virtue of a piece of paper (or a couple of pieces of paper) out of whole cloth in territory seized from Britain or from the native population, for which there is no historical basis before 1776.
You do know that Egypt and Jordan aren't oil-producing nations, right? But beside that point, your plan is basically to spend US tax dollars to pay those nations to absorb the Palestinians, is that right?
IIRC a long time ago the Saudi’s said the “Palestinians” were not welcome there.
And the Kuwati’s use them as servants in their homes.
No wonder they do whatever their told.
Then you should be aware of his shortcomings, which are many.
