I thought that voter ID was not about verifying a voter's identity, it was about identifying a person as being eligible to vote.
In other words, the person must first have shown a United States birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or United States passport, to indicate that the person is a CITIZEN of the United States, and therefore is allowed to vote.
They cannot just be a resident in the United States. They must be a citizen to vote.

There is only one reason liberals oppose voter ID laws. It’s to preserve their ability to engage in voter fraud.
We know this because they always mean the opposite of what they say and they invariably state the “widespread voter fraud is a myth” meme.

We can point to at least one ‘Pubbie Congresscritter (Bob Dornan) in California who lost his seat to illegal aliens voting and to at least one district (In Philadelphia PA, I think) that had over 100% of registered winning.
Then there’s Kennedy’s win over Nixon which was a product of Joe Sr.’s influence with the Chicago Machine and the Mob.
And those are just the ones we’ve caught...
The only long lines will be for those that cannot produce an acceptable ID and have not taken the time to procure one. Anyone with the proper verification will go right through.

These same folks have noooooooooo problem in getting proper documents , to collect, welfare,food stamps,I have not yet heard anybody whine, about what legal documents they must produce to collect benefits and how they had to wait.
