"He is a kind man, who, for the rest of his life, has to be associated with me and that one event.
For the rest of HIS life? Dream on, Rosie. We assure you, there's more to the man's television and film legacy than that little blip on the radar involving your attack. Now, with you-on the other hand-it's a different story.
When I think of Tom Selleck, the first thought which pops into my mind isn't your cowardly sucker punch. Westerns and Magnum P.I. come to mind.
It's not polite to say what first pops into my mind when I think of Rosie O'Donnell.

Of course she does ... her career went steadily downhill after that broadcast. After many years and an inability to get a steady paying job, and a diminishing bank account ... now she is contrite. Go figure.

You are 100% correct. What a self important Hippo. No one cares about this woman and since Selleck is in a top rated network show AGAIN, the last thing anyone thinks about is Rosie. Selleck's mustache is more famous than her.

When I think of Tom Selleck, the first thought which pops in my mind is that if I look out from my balcony, I can see the house where he grew up. :)

actually, for the rest of his life he will have to be associated with “Magnum P.I.”. His defense of the NRA makes up for all those years of really bad television however.

Same thing I thought.
I’m sure Tom is *just fine*.
The Sow, OTOH, has to live with it the regret of ripping into a “really nice guy” for the rest of ~her~ miserable, misbegotten life.
Here’s to your -really- old age, Rosie!

You should check out his show Blue Bloods...very politically incorrect. Family meals, prayer before meals, Muslim bad guys - very good.

When Tom Selleck was asked his opinion on the story in which Rosie O'Donnell's expresses her contrived regret on how she would have done things differently in her interview with him on gun control, his response was Rosie who?

She sure thinks a lot of herself. Tom is known for a huge spectrum of work in movies and on TV. Rosie is only known for being a bit ch.

So I do feel bad for him -- not for him, but for the way that whole thing played out in that he still has to sometimes answer for it, which I dont think is fair.
Wow, the brain is gone.

I was pretty raw. It was the first time I was in what I perceived to be a position of power -- which I thought came with fame. And I was really disillusioned to find out that it didnt. This is how all liberals are. A little fame turns them into petty little dictators.

In hindsight, if I had to redo [it], I would do it differently, she admits. In hindsight, there is no such thing as a nice ambush or sucker punch. Rosie was being Rosie.
