Because you are showing utter contempt for justice by applauding the verdict based on judicial ‘mechanics’. Your tagline supposedly trumpets your Christianity, but you sound like a Pharisee, in that the ‘letter’ of the law trumps the ‘spirit’ of the law. If this is your modality of logic and morality, then, yes, I feel sorry for Drew.

My biggest fear is that Casey will get a reality show or some such. Look at Octo-mom, the Long Island Lolita, balloon boy—dirty gets rewarded.

We MUST say NO by not watching one second of Baez on programs—reject all books, magazines etc that include the Anthonys’.

FOX news thinks they have it goin’ on by playing that sick puke, Geraldo with his EXCLUSIVE Baez interview ( in Beck time-slot). Exclusive for Puerto Rican brothers. It sure the L isn’t inclusive!

Geraldo didn’t treat the Ramsey case and Casey case the same—why? Geraldo was a traitor to our troops—and FOX supports this!

I for one am done with FOX...

consider the fact that they were probably all democrats, i.e., anti-death penalty.

Truthkeeper, I'M not even death penalty, but it's what I thought might happen. I couldn't sit on a jury if death was my only option. I don't disagree if other choose to do so, I just couldn't personally do it.

If the alternate joror couldn't even believe there was decomp in that car, I just don't know what they were listeing to. That is one piece of evidence I was convince of after readomg up on the testimony.

The only thing I can surmise is that the defense did a good job of confusing the whole trial throwing everything at the wall (to include George may have even molested the kitchen sink!), the Anthony's added to the confusion with all their disorgnized testimony (especially the mother Cindy). So, the defense was able to obfuscate the whole trial with the confusion of the dysfunctional family defense.

Problem was, the actual evidence was neglected by the jury. They actaully focussed more on the family dynamics and the ensuing confusion. The synopsis you provided from the alternate juror said to me that he was too confused by the family to really make any judgement on the evidence.

That is sad. There will never by justice for the little girl that died (killed or neglected??) and was thrown out in three bags to coninue the decomposition that began in her mother's trunk. The alternate juror could not even agree to that. THAT is stunning.

So we find people guilty based on how we “feel” instead of the letter of the law?

Wow.

I suppose you are cool with SCOTUS using their “feelings” when applying the constitution in trials also???

“The plain and simple fact of this case is the prosecution blew it big time. They had a weak case to begin with, presented what evidence in a haphazard manner to the point that the theory of their case was constantly shifting throughout the trial and ending up in the embarrassing position of being caught laughing at the opposing side during closing arguments and finally nearly begging for a verdict on the final close.”

Not exactly what Levin said about this, but close.

I respect his take on this case more than any other view I have heard.

There was certainly more than “feel” in this trial. To deny that, is to deny reality. There were facts and evidence even without a fingerprint or some DNA.

If there was a fingerprint or DNA, what would it prove, really? Casey was the mother, her chit belonged there—Cindy and George, too.

There was NONE on the tape because it had rotted, water-logged etc. Some DNA showed up, shed from the investigatorsmahoohas, but that DNA did NOT cover or hide any other DNA.

The state should have brought on Jesse Grund—that shower at his place etc. He had MUCH to tell...

Russ Huekler of St. Petersburg was one of those alternates.

Huekler, a teacher, believes Casey was a liar, but he does not believe that makes her a killer.

“There was some type of horrific accident by the family,” he said. Whatever happened I think more than one person knows and I think that was possibly George Anthony.”

The defense’s argument that Caylee drowned made sense to him.

“For some reason they made an accident look like a murder scene,” Huekler ?

******

Not one iota of EVIDENCE that it was an accident.

So we find people guilty based on how we “feel” instead of the letter of the law?

So do you believe justice was served today? Do you believe that the prosecution evidence was only 'feeling' based? Really? You watched this trial and couldn't connect the dots? You obviously either did not watch most of this trial or lack basic comprehensive skills. Do you feel comfortable about the murderer of a tiny child being let off because the state didn't have an absolutely 'perfect' case? Oh, that's right....she isn't a murderer because Ashton didn't present a video of the crime wrapped up in a bow to this drooling group of jurors. You and people of like mind over this trial are pathetic. You would have felt right at home deliberating with these dunces.

Hmm... so I’m saying the jury was completely lacking in intelligence, you’re saying they were completely lacking in ethical standards of morality/behavior (ignoring the truth in favor of punishing prosecution behavior they didn’t like.)

There’s another option: Maybe it was six of one, and half a dozen of the other.

“So right there you had the prosecution fighting its own witnesses for God’s sake.

“The prosecution should have sought an appropriate punishment for a mother who did a rather silly thing by trying to chlorofom her child for a night’s rest. There was way more evidence that fit this template”

-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—<>-—

A short excerpt of a brilliant post. Thank you. It is my belief, too, that the prosecution greatly overreached for whatever reason.

I can’t listen to Hannity on radio either.

I tape his TV show, but only because he occasionally has intelligent guests whose opinions I want to hear. More often than not, I fast forward through the whole thing in 5 minutes without stopping to watch any of it.

Well, the beginning, middle, and end of my concern is justice for a little girl who was murdered.

Hannity is an idiot. He said he watched the trial and later said maybe the baby's father did it. The baby's father is reported to be dead.

No, I’m not saying that a fingerprint would have been the answer to it all. I am saying that I think the case created way more questions than it even started with. George Anthony lied on the stand. That bothers me. He’s hiding something. Also, I am bothered by the meter reader and his moving/not moving the body....I did miss that part of the trial...I missed part of the issue about the deputy being rude and not looking just a few feet from where he was standing for the body or something. Can you fill me in there?
