It’s so disturbing that there has been no grieving for Caylee by Casey Anthony. She’s been smiling at the cameras since day 1, like a celebrity. She’s lovin’ it.
My thoughts exactly. It’s all about Casey and that’s why little Caylee is dead.
I am so sickened by this verdict. I haven’t heard it expressed, but do they believe she drowned. Unreal!!!!!!! I guess her body flew down to the woods where she was found. That is, after she taped her own mouth and wrapped herself in trash bags. So exactly what do the jurors think happened?
I shudder to think they believe drowning followed by “someone” doing the aforementioned things and dumping her body. Are people really that dumb?
I can’t even watch or listen anymore. I’m done. I won’t turn on HLN or any of the news channels right now. It will take me a long long time to be able to even remotely get over this one. CO
I really wish I knew who said what to them in the jury room, what did they believe their actual task was, because I keep hearing “shadow of a doubt” which is not the burden of proof.
This was a tough thing to swallow, but tougher still is to realize that so many people actually think this is proof that our system works and is the best there is.
Someone needs to make a TV ad to that effect.
This judge is responsible for THROWING the entire trial. He just wanted to rush and fill the 12 SEATS and a few alternates regardless of WHO they were. He, in my opinion, is actually, on par or worse than ITO. He threw the trial. Another almost worse crime has been committed. May they ALL face God Almighty soon. Justice WILL be done that is for sure. But in the meantime, i will NOT EVER turn on HLN or any other news channel that discussed this disgrace. I wish I could get his email. I would give this man a piece of my mind. I am married to a Lawyer and work for him. I have for 23 years. I work with Lawyers every single day. This would not and could not happen here. Justice here, although, the sentences are not right, does not make a mockery or treat trials like Hollywood shows. For that I am eternally grateful. Jurors like this would NEVER get on a murder trial jury - NEVER. A second and actually more wicked crime has been committed. God will exact justice one day tho - this will NOT be forgotten. CO
