Yep, he is just taking advantage of the opportunity because most all the Republican men seem too soft and weak.

I agree....to beat Obama, one just has to run straight at him. No dodging, no mealymouthing, forget the media and expose Obama for who he is!

People in this nation are waiting for someone to stand up and oppose Barry directly!

blah, blah, blah. Yep, that pretty much sums up what D.L. said. I’m sick of talk from the GOP establishment. If they all had joined, stuck together and stood by the Constitution in 2008, Obama would not be in office. They still refuse to see the immediate threat to our national security...

This is very true, but we do not have a candidate that has his aura. Most of them have already neutered themselves by declaring the BC issue a distraction.

Cain is about the only one who hasn’t other than The Donald.

But...I will gladly trade the sloppy unpapered mutt in the big dawg house anyday for the fine authentically black Lab conservative Herman Cain.

As I see it at this juncture, potential pubbie candidates include a sizable number who never found the cajones to say the first word about the big problem in the story, and one guy who did. Easy, easy choice.

“Republicans can learn great lessons from his direct, fearless approach.”

He has my vote! Save any Trump bashing posts, like My 1994 Explorer none of you can change my mind. Bachman and Palin failed my test and Romney, yeah right.

Well, if Trump is the only one that has the balls to attack Obama directly from all angles - and is the only one with the stature to make himself heard above the propoganda from the leftist media - then hell, he has my vote.

He fights. We have to have someone that fights. It's like Lincoln said, "Let me know what brand of whiskey Grant uses. For if it makes fighting generals like Grant, I should like to get some of it for distribution."

Mr Trump,

Please research Obama’s school records, missing thesis, social security numbers and Michelle’s disbarment.

Thank you.

Watch Meredith Vieira's face during this interview.

Sad part is he’s saying all the right things but he tends to wander into being a cartoon at times. He’s still useful though.

The issue here is not Obama's birth certificate; it is Trump's aggressive, offensive posture in challenging Obama across the board.

Sorry, but this doesn't make any sense. Of course the major issue is the birth certificate. Why do we think Trump has emphasized it so much? These are not mutually exclusive alternatives.

Attack Obama, yes. And attack him where he is vulnerable, yes. Nowhere is he more vulnerable than on the issue that he is probably an illegal alien posturing as our President.

Voting for someone who follows the "Trump blueprint" is like voting for someone who mimics the Palin agenda. Might as well vote for the real thing.

“The issue here is not Obama’s birth certificate”

Mr. Limbaugh is letting Trump do the dirty work while he publicly postures that Obama’s background is a minor issue. I hope Trump’s snooping will answer some of the numerous questions about Obama’s past.

As I have said, the recent Trump phenom is not so much about birtherism per se, but about the general backlash against the political Hack Elites who think they can tell the American people what they may and may not ask about their president or presidential candidates.

Yes, the BC issue does have a foundation in the Constitution, making it a particular scam if it were to turn out Barry is not eligible.

But the larger point is that the American people simply will not tolerate someone telling they have no right to EVEN ASK certain questions of their president/candidates. When, in fact, the American people have the right to ask any and all questions they want to ask, and to keep asking them if they want, until those questions are answered to THEIR — not the media’s, not the elite’s -— satisfaction.

Even people who really don’t have any dog in the BC or NBC hunt have reached the point of being appalled at the reaction to someone simply asking a question.

Hell’s Bells, if the American people for whatever reason want to see a candidate’s school records, medical records, or whatever -— they should be “allowed” to ask/demand them just because they, for whatever reason, think the information is pertinent.

If someone doesn’t want to provide them, fine. But it’s not acceptable to say people must stop asking if they feel they have not gotten sufficient information in response.

The USA is bankrupt.

Trump has successfully pulled companies through bankruptcy.

His idea about taxing wealth in lieu of the death tax is simply brilliant.

I am starting to like him, regardless of his past donation activity.

"including that I don't believe he's been reliably conservative over the years"

Anti-Trumpers who are focused on conservative "ideology" should keep in mind what happened in Michigan in the 2010 Governor's election. Two Conservative Republicans, both generally acceptable to the Tea Party, lost in the Primary to a Republican businessman, who's ideological drive was almost non-existent but who was most identified with the ability to apply business principles to government management. The businessman then went on to an overwhelming victory in the general election - in Michigan folks, Michigan. I think the pollsters will be very interested in the Michigan Republican presidential polls.
