The online version the New York Post editorial in today's issue harshly criticizing WikiLeaks for publishing stolen classified Pentagon Afghan war documents without redacting them to prevent Afghans from facing retribution from the Taliban has been hacked.
Attempts to access the editorial directly through NYPost.com and through Google result in being directed to Pages.US.com
WikiLeaks and its founder, reputed computer hacker Julian Assange, have come under criticism from allies Reporters Without Borders and Amnesty International for outing Afghans without regard to their safety.
This week, Assange called Afghans aiding the U.S. in the fight against al Qaeda and the Taliban "genuinely traitorous." That terrorist-supporting statement is inluded in the hacked Post editorial, according to a Google search return.

WikiKills
WikiLeaks, the anti-war group that dumped 75,000 pages of secret US military material onto the Internet, may already have blood on its hands -- even as it gets set to dump another 15,000 pages, putting more lives at risk.
A Google search returns the Post editorial with the headline: WikiLeaks Helps the Taliban Kill in Afghanistan.

Bill Casey woulda known how to handle this guy
Julian Assange apparently wants “transparency” for everyone else but not for himself.
For example, Wikileaks has been receiving help from Pirate Bay whose co-founder is a Swedish businessman Carl Lundstrom - one of the most notorious fascists in Europe. Lundstrom reportedly owns 40% of The Pirate Bay - the largest share.
This is interesting given the suspected involvement of Assange’s stepfather with the dangerous Australian cult called “The Family” (a.k.a. “The Great White Brotherhood,” a.k.a. Santiniketan Park Association).
The leader Anne Hamilton-Byrne claims to be a reincarnation of Jesus christ and bleached the hair of all of her “children.”
Assange won’t disscuss any ties he may or may not have had with the cult.

Yes, you properly placed the horse before the cart.
Somehow I think plummeting a few thousand feet without a parachute will ensure he “doesn’t remain above ground.”
Gosh, I can’t imagine. /sarc
Thanks AdmSmith.
Well gee whiz...that’s not the reason.
I thought Australia was an ally. The Liar in chief has asked several countries to bring charges against Julie but according to the Aussies he has not.
If he broke Australian law in Australia, then charging him would be their prerogative. It’s not ours though, unless he comes here to the US and breaks one of our laws while visiting.
Where have you been these past 20 or so years?
Since when has a nation’s prerogatives - independence, sovereignty, etc - been upheld by this country or anyone else. Not since the NWO decided that invading and holding and arresting and charging and imprisoning was the right of everyone else except the country in question.
No - Julie is safe as long as this administration holds the reins. Or as long as he continues to serve a useful purpose.
Your argument falls flat...very flat.
Assange has not been arrested yet because he's been able to leverage the knowledge that he has more docs to dump along side the fact that he is not legally obliged to U.S. laws outside of the U.S. Even though we do regularly violate the sovereignty of other nations, we usually do so with at least a modicum of caution so as not to end up with egg all over our face. Sometimes it ends up there anyway. But my point is right now, Assange is far too public and still has too many cards against our government to make the violation of Australian sovereignty to arrest him a viable option at this time.
