Perhaps the original videotape isn't as grainy and unclear, but from that video, I don't think you can conclusively say that the man isn't Arab, Latino, black, or mixed race to say nothing of describing him as "white".

So there’s a white guy(?) - first off, he could be Arab. There are plenty of pale-skinned Arabs in this country, and a surveillance camera could wash out any skin tone to begin with. Secondly, it’s a picture of a guy taking off his shirt on the sidewalk and moving along. How does this equate to being a suspect? Because he looks back at the smoking truck? I’d look back at a truck if it was smoking, too, and then I’d get the hell out of there. And if I’m the bomber, I’m not going to stop and CHANGE in front of EVERYONE while a fuse is lit. If you’re trying to conceal your identity after the fact, letting everyone watch you change makes no sense.

I think this is a red herring. They’ve got a patsy who they can use, for now, as a diversion to keep people from panicking.

CNN had a woman anchor who is often there, I did not get her name. She is a dark complected young woman with a pretty face. She had on an "expert" in these things and he looked the real deal. She prefaced her original question about his knowledge about such things with this statement.

I think that is the gist of what she fed the man with. I believe it was Eric Rudolph that left the back pack at that park. Richard Jewell the security man ,was slandered by some of the press. He was harassed by the authorities, yet he was the hero doing his job.

The media want this absolute psychopath to be a white male, preferably with right wing connections, that the very fillings in their teeth are nearly dropping out.
