I've looked at the HTML code at that horrible "smear Glenn Beck" web site and found something interesting.
It appears that this is not a bunch of jovial Internet pranksters suddenly becoming socialists and deciding to do a character assassination of Glenn Beck.
This is what got my attention:

In both of them health care is misspelled as "heath care" and a lot of the tags are similar...
Hmmm...

I read about some other web detectives who used “whois” to try and track the origin of the Glenn Beck slander web site and decided to check it out for myself.
Like most of you, I’m a suspicious person who want to check things for myself.
It just seemed weird that one “prankster” would go through the trouble of setting up a web site, producing youtube videos, gaming search engine keywords, and paying for it without any ads or begging for contributions, so I thought I’d check it out myself.
And I’m a software developer, so I know that copying and pasting code from previous projects is very common.
So the link goes to a parked site now? hostmonster.comYour browser's been hijacked ...
On other news, should I save the 'source' for either of these two web sites?
As in: "This newbie is a troll, and needs to be zotted?"

I don’t get the revelation...the ACORN site was there first, the rip off of the keywords makes sense to some web builders, by using the same keywords they think they will draw the same inquiry responses...pull traffic from the acorn crowd to get more hits...but they won’t, really...the revelation would be if the Beck site went up first THEN the ACORN site...even then, only MAYBE interesting.
Plus, if you look at the styles and how they are written overall, completely different. Different publisher, too.
So the Beck asassination site builder may have copied the code from ACORN, what does that mean? Nothing, as far as I can see, except they were hoping to score some of ACORN’s hits...
The best question yet is still...not so much good catch, as why catch it? Either way to much time on your hands or looking for something that has no meaning?

We could look mighty stupid if we charged off yelling about the ACORN conspiracy on THIS stuff...some people could be having a good chuckle over this...nothing here.

Because that website is a joke site. Now, suddenly, everyone is gonna visit it with their eye toward some conspiracy. What better joke?
Howlin greeted me with the same skepticism and I’m still here. If the n00b has any gumption let him stand his ground.

has meta tags buried in line 592 in the code. i just looked at it comparing how the code was written to the other site and saw this

interesting - looks like they moved them down a bit
Last week, an anonymous 34-year-old computer science student decided the meme needed a home, so he started GlennBeckRapedandMurderedaYoungGirlin1990.com, complete with a fake arrest report and a plethora of information on the “case”.
Says Beck was trying to shut it down. Link to story below.
But considering the source code I wonder if this guy is a front too.
Go look for yourself and make up your own mind.
And everyone was a newbie at some point here, so go ahead and set up whatever hazing ritual y’all use around here to make me feel welcome ,)
The dead link provides us with an alternative link which is - www.acorn.org - suspicious in itself.
The rest is over my head, but other Freepers seem to have doubts and questions regarding the accuracy of it.
