I recently recieved a welcome letter from my daughter's teacher. My daughter is going into kindergarden at a catholic school. The letter included the phrase "learning how to help save the planet" which of course means global warming. My wife and I believe that global warming is a hoax built on junk science.
I don't want my daughter brainwashed by this liberal bullcrap. what should I do?
Don’t send her to a Roman Catholic school would be my first.
Take her out of Catholic School and send her to Public School.
Homeschool.
Request a switch of teachers.
And also — ignore the Roman Catholic Church bashers.
(And no, I am not remotely RC, and respectfully disagree with bits and pieces of its theology.)

Pick a different school, or homeschool
Quit your job and homeschool.
This may not be an option for you, but home schooling is the best thing you can do for your child IMO. Get connected to your state’s home schooling resource. They’ll have the lesson plans you need and the support to help you.
To have a teacher express that level of ignorance to me right off the bat, would infuriate me.
Political correctness will be the death of this nation.

Tell her to giggle any time she hears specific global warming catch-phrases like “eco-”, “warming”, “Al Gore”, “rain forest”, and other such words.
Rich countries are clean countries. Socialist and poor countries are dirty countries. Ask that she teach Capitalism and Free Markets. They are societies proven to clean up the environment.
If globull warming is the only brain washing they do you’re ahead of the game.
Confront the teacher, and the principal.
Don’t let them shame or bully you. If they don’t relent, your daughter is in the wrong school.
Saving the World, that’s what Jesus came here for.
Saving the planet, that’s beyond the capability of men.
I’d contact the teacher and ask for the course content on “helping to save the planet” and specifically say you do not want your child force fed global warming nonsense. At least it gives the teacher a heads up that you’re keeping an eye on them and you can review whether the material is propaganda at the same time.
You go in there and tell her that you don’t believe that Global Warming has been scientifically proven and unless she can prove to you that it is a reality you don’t want your daughter coming home with that phrase in her vocabulary. Junk science is not on the curriculum.
