Top Astronaut: 'Aliens Do Exist'
11:37am UK, Thursday July 24, 2008 Aliens do exist and have even contacted humans on Earth, according to top astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell who was the sixth man on the Moon. l-alien
Dr Edgar Mitchell says aliens are just like little men
The truth has been hidden by governments for more than 60 years, the Moon walker says.
And he claims he is lifting the lid on a conspiracy to keep aliens a secret.
Dr Mitchell, who was on Apollo 14 in 1971, has told how he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with Nasa but each one was covered up.
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as "little people who look strange to us".

One landed and became a congressman from South Dakota.
“Do they look like John Kerry”?
No, they look and dress like quakers and generally live to be about 1,000 years old.
lol. Interesting a former astronaut said this. Honestly, who knows. As big as the universe is, it would be hard seeing us as the only planet with life.
Little men - why does O’bama come to mind?
The 77-year-old claims the space agency made contact with aliens, describing the beings as “little people who look strange to us”.but willing to do the jobs Americans won’t
and the greatest proof that intelligent life exists.. they’ve been smart enough not to contact us.
I guess that means Romney won't be getting the nod for VP.
I agree, but it's even harder to imagine that NASA kept a secret for 40+ years.
If they do exist, theyre demonically derived.
No, more like Dennis Kucinich.
I would find it stranger if there weren’t aliens. To think as large as our solar system is, and the universe and so on, and no life except for ours? That just doesn’t even calculate statistically does it?
Who says they haven’t, maybe they just didn’t contact you!
Right idea ... wrong guy
It's AlGore that was born nine months after aliens crash landed in Roswell (so the story goes).
We need a border fence to prevent aliens from coming to the US!
Senile dementia? Or a genuine whistle-blower?
And I thought it was Leprechauns who lived inside the hollow earth.
Or was that Gremlins.
Maybe it was Fauns.
Oh, I'm so confused! I need a drink! No,No, they only show up after a shot or three! After three they begin to look pretty good!
Chuck Missler has written some outstanding articles that support your statemnt and I agree with his logic.
These may a part of the coming deception, so strong, that if it were possible, even the very elect might be decieved.
One is running for President right now...........no one can figure out where he was born
Mitchel came to our campus about 10 yrs ago to give a talk. I went just to see a real moon man. The auditorium was filled, but strangely no students, only normal-looking adults. Mitchell talked about the connectedness of the universe. It got weird during the question and answer period. It was like Rosemary’s baby: all the normal-looking people turned out to be not normal. They were all UFO crazies who believed in any and all stories about aliens, communicating with the universe, etc.
buzz aldrin claims to have seen ufos in space too.
there are 200-400 billion stars in just our galaxy, with 100 billion galaxies containing billions and billions of stars. i found it hard to believe we are the only planet with life. seems like a giant waste of space to me if there were no aliens.
**Here is a shot of the mother ship, after it landed here on earth:***
They landed in a tin foil hat? Amazing!
Actually, it DOES “calculate statistically” that there are no other intelligent/technological beings in our galaxy at least.
The “Drake equation”, even being generous, shows that it would take at least 100 galaxies of the same type as ours to produce 1 technological life supporting planet.
Then, given that these tech life forms could be from other galaxies, you have the speed of light barrier to contend with. Not saying that it couldn’t be overcome with sufficient tech, but just pointing out the hurdle to travel.
i once heard that there are 400 billion stars in our galaxy and 200 billion of them most likely have planets like ours orbiting them. chances seem kinda small that we are alone. the chances of contact, however, are very small.
Nope, Dr. Mitchell said aliens are just like little men
There was an edpisode of the TV show "Wings," where Joe and Brian were trying to sign on former astronaut "Ace" Calvin (Robert Culp) as a spokesman for Sandpiper Air. Without giving away any spoilers, one really must see the episode to fully appreciate this thread ;-)
He’s not the only one....they know...oh yeah....they know...
Space pioneer Gordon Cooper dies: Cooper believed in UFO coverup
In his post-NASA career, Cooper became known as an outspoken believer in UFOs and charged that the government was covering up its knowledge of extraterrestrial activity.
“I believe that these extraterrestrial vehicles and their crews are visiting this planet from other planets, which obviously are a little more technically advanced than we are here on Earth” he told a United Nations panel in 1985.
“I feel that we need to have a top-level, coordinated program to scientifically collect and analyze data from all over the Earth concerning any type of encounter, and to determine how best to interface with these visitors in a friendly fashion”
He added, “For many years I have lived with a secret, in a secrecy imposed on all specialists and astronauts. I can now reveal that every day, in the USA, our radar instruments capture objects of form and composition unknown to us”
The sun must be much dimmer on his planet. That’s why he has to wear sunglasses.
I always thought there might be a beacon outside our solar system that transmits.....
DO NOT ENTER.
IMMATURE, SELF-CENTERED, SELF DESTRUCTIVE SPECIES.
are you talking about life on other planets or the chances of CONTACT with those life forms? it would seem to me that life is likely, but contact with that life is not likely.
Carl Sagan was a pretty smart guy and he said the same thing.
Anyone who doesn't believe that aliens have landed and are interbreading with humans needs to look at Amy Winehouse and Dennis Rodman.
It is a fact that the astronauts saw things out there they can’t explain. Doesn’t mean they saw space ships. It does mean there are things going on we don’t understand.
I do believe there is life in space though.
this is just one universe of many
The great deceiver has many tools in his bag of tricks.
Anything and everything to conceal the Truth.
(BTW, nice homepage)
“little people who look strange to us”.
Joseph Smith said they were 6 foot tall and dressed like Quakers...
His followers, the fLDS, looked strange to us when we first saw them dressed like Quakers, on TV
Why would they be “demonically-derived”?
A little of both.
First, I am talking about _technological_ life. There might be some bacteria, even in our own solar system - life, but little chance of building space ships.
The Drake equation addresses the probability of technological life, and again, it concludes, generously, a 1/100th of a chance per spiral galaxy of having one planet capable of supporting technological life.
Then, when you add contact and travel limitations on top of that...
if that’s the case.. then i agree, further prof they’re intelligent :)
this is just one universe of many
Hate to break it to ya guy but, there is only one universe, lots of galaxies but only one universe.
Carl Sagan was a pretty smart guy
Carl Sagan was a liberal idiot....
You laugh, but that same ship flew over my house just yesterday.
“...describing the beings as “little people who look strange to us”.”
Those are DEMOCRATS, Dr. Mitchell!
I’m sure all that dope he smoked didn’t affect his thinking in the slightest.
