Can’t vote for him....he scares me!

More than Comrad Shrillary"

More than turning Iraq Afghanistan and the rest of the world over to the barbarians?

On a "Scare-scale", people like you are right up there

1. Shrillary - 2.Obama 3. the blind (people like you) 4. Romney 5. McCain/Huckabee/Guliani

Yeah I'd say soreheads are pretty comprehensively the problem, all the way down. On the left too.

Fake conservatives sit out elections or vote third-party.

Grow up, disgruntled FReepers.

Spot on

” Good for you - and if voters like you let the Socialists in = after they turn Iraq, Afghanistan and the world back to the islamofacists - you can look in the mirror every day and see someone who has/and will continue to have, the blood of, first, many of our troops, and then, increasingly around the world, blood of tens of thousands of civilians, on your hands.”

VS electing a Republican socialist?

I won’t have blood on my hands - the RINO’s who nominated these goombahs, and the Bushes, and Roves who enabled them will.

That dog don’t hunt anymore.

I wouldn’t support him as lettuce picker. There’s no office that I would ever pull the lever on for insane McPain.

Oh, I'd stay home on election day, and register as an "unenrolled voter" in my home state ASAP (i.e., an Independent).

If McCain is widely considered as representative of the Republican Party (who is the first Pubbie to cross the aisle to make nice with the Dems on virtually every contentious issue we've faced in the last 20 years), then I am not a Republican. He routinely votes against my interests. He's a "big government" status quo kind of guy who'd be the last person on earth I'd expect to really try to promote federalism, to reform or downsize Washington.

Though he gets high marks for some reason on international relations and military affairs, I can't even trust him there (e.g., his pontificating, self-serving hostility to waterboarding).

IMHO, he's an arrogant, nasty narcissist, a spoiler and disrupter of a once-great political party. His election as president would tell me the GOP is dead, de facto if not de jure.

>>Good for you - and if voters like you let the Socialists in = after they turn Iraq, Afghanistan and the world back to the islamofacists - you can look in the mirror every day and see someone who has/and will continue to have, the blood of, first, many of our troops, and then, increasingly around the world, blood of tens of thousands of civilians, on your hands.

How exactly does that result differ from what would happen with a RINO (read Socialist-Lite) in the White House? You present a false dichotomy.

But I’m recently thinking that 4 years of the Dems may not be a bad thing in the long run, because a disasterous liberal term will enable the conservative party to regain its strength and possibly take over the WH and Congress/Senate 4 years after that.

that's the line of thinking in 2006 that gave us Reid and Pelosi 0 that worked out well.

That aside - if the Comrades get in the WH now - dedicated to turn Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the world over to the barbarians - we'll have a hellava lot more to worry about long before any next election.

We've become a nation of ostriches - many here in FR

No, it’s people who will eat whatever the party will serve that are the problem.

Enjoy your lunch, whatever that may end up being.

When a RINO wins in New Hampshire and FReepers cheer, the GOP is dead.

>>That’s politics. You give up some of what you want and get some of what you want so that you don’t end up with none of what you want. I visualize it as cutting off my foot to save my life. Call me “Mr. Cheerful” this morning.

So this election you cut off one foot, and in the next election you cut off the other. The problem with your line of thought is that eventually, you WILL run out of body parts to sacrifice.

>>NO CONSERVATIVE ENABLES SUCH SCENARIOS BY VOTING THIRD-PARTY OR BY STAYING HOME.

You seem to be confusing “Republican” with “Conservative”. The two are not necessarily the same thing.
