For the most part, I agree with you. Let’s just hope as conservatives that we don’t have to be faced with the difficult task of choosing between several Rhino’s (I can’t even say the word Republican anymore. Most of them make my skin crawl)

But to make my point: We need to be prepared for the fact that McCain may defeat Mixed-Up Mitt and Huckleberry Finn

The reason I’d vote for McCain is because he is Pro-life and hopefully would nominate strict Constructionalists Judges.

It’s gonna be a rough one. It looked like Thompson won it, and the after-interviews showed that, so hopefully Freddy’s theory was genuine: win SC to win the gateway to the conservative South and Midwest.

Maybe you’re right.

Let’s hope Obama is their candidate and McCain isn;t ours.

I would like to sincerely thank you, Tiger's Eye, for providing us with this valuable information. It certainly has open my eyes as to the troof about Senator McCain. Scrolling through the links I found these little gems of troof that the government has been concealing from us as part of the grand conspiracy which includes 9/11. Just some examples:

That the CIA controlled the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War.

That the CIA created that war in a conspiracy to control the world.

That Kemper Marley and his organized crime network controlled not only Arizona but THE WORLD through their protégés in the Illuminati and Al Capone's operation.

That McCain is a puppet of this “mobster network”.

That former Supreme court Chief Justice Rehnquist was a part of this conspiracy.

That McCain has a father in law.

That Kemper Marley and his crime network controlled ALL of Arizona's Senators and Congressmen.

That Kemper Marley and Eugene Pullium started the Arizona Republic and the Phoenix Gazette to aid and conceal this massive conspiracy. And they were so slick that they did this BEFORE they were born.

That Bush 41, Dan Quayle and Colin Powell orchestrated the Gulf War as a part of this conspiracy which originated with King George II who was Colin Powell's grandpappy.

That Dan Quayle lived NEXT DOOR to Robert Welch who, with the John Birch Society, was part and parcel to the conspiracy for world domination for “damage limitation”.

That John McCain in ingrained in the webs and networks which are a part of the conspiracy to CONTROL THE WORLD.

None of this I would have known if you had not supplied me with this inside information on John McCain. I can't possibly tell you how much I appreciate your sanity, your insight, your intelligence, your perception. They are all in the best tradition of true troofers.

Oh, and just between you, me, and the whole world, YOU ARE NUCKIN' FUTS.

Hey, bozo! I found the ONE article you were talking about. I missed that when I picked it up from someone else. It is now removed from my links. Anything else you’d like to rave like a lunatic about or do you want to settle back in your haze?

"Are you serious? Really, are you that brainwashed?"

Are you really that uninformed? While it's true that ignorance is bliss, in the case of Hillary becoming President, your "bliss" will be extremely short-lived. Trust me. You won't enjoy the reality.

You might want to read up on the Fairness Doctrine...and think about all the ways the leftist DemocRats might use that to regulate (read constrict, censure, control, shut down) conservative talk radio and conservative websites such as this one.

Just do like the leftie libs do. Google it!

"Not all things are black and white, not all conservatives are party line voting, ad Hominem spewing Republicans."

No. You're right there. These days, more and more...there are pretenda-Republicans and fake conservatives... that spew their own subtle brand of poison. In fact...there's a plethora of them in government, and even right here posting at Free Republic.

We call them RINOs. And their ulterior motive is always the same. To spread divisiveness and discontent, to divide and to conquer. Just like the leftist Dems do. What a coincidence, eh?

"But don't kid yourself in getting McCain elected... it's a slower route to the exact same destination."

Yes, but still and all....a slower route to destruction gives us more time to work towards stopping that destruction. With Hillary (or any other leftist/socialist/DemocRat) as President....our destruction will be too swift to deter. Swift and sure.

It's just common sense and logic to vote for the lesser of evils here. Too bad that some here don't seem to have any common sense or logic (kinda like the liberal lefties).

No, it's not common sense to continue doing what we've done for 40 years as we watched the GOP slip further and further into globalism and socialist tendencies.

In my humble opinion, McCain is more dangerous than Hillary or Obama as he represents the conservative world while slipping us all down the same path. A Hillary or Obama would be a direct frontal assault and would make things clear to the citizens that we need to stand for something and we need to take back our country.

McCain represents the path that lets us all casually watch the world go to hell in a handbasket while we concern ourselves with whether the Patriots finish the season undefeated or whether steroid use in baseball is a serious problem.

Too many bandaid approaches and for too long

I'm sick of it and things need brought to a head while I'm still alive to help deal with the fall out. I'd rather not leave this slippery and undefined slope to my children and McCain does NOT represent me.

McCain is in fact a traitorous bastard and will NEVER get my vote. Never

The Republicans can nominate him at their own peril, it's a lost election if you do so.

Okey dokey. But....you (and others here) seem all too willing to hand over the reins of America to the socialists. While I appreciate your right to differ in opinion, I also have to note your lack of good judgement in doing the same thing you did in 2006 (punish the RINOs by not voting at all or by voting for a 3rd Party, effectively giving power to the socialists).

In other words, I totally, but respectfully, disagree with your stance.
