It seemed like an outpouring of veteran anger against Donald Trump: over a dozen former service members protesting outside Trump Tower.
But the reality was more complicated. The protest was actually a coordinated effort, led in part by the Hillary Clinton campaign, to embarrass her Republican rival for his failed efforts to raise money for veterans. It only looked like a grassroots demonstration.
A spokesman for the demonstrators insisted they had no affiliation with any campaign. Later he said the protesters had reached out to the Clinton campaign for press contacts, but that’s all. Then the activist finally admitted that, yes, the Clinton campaign had helped organize the protest....

Wow - over a dozen of them. I can tell from experience that there are far too many uber-liberal twits in the military. If she only found a dozen of them, she's way behind the eight ball......I'd wager that a military-wide poll would show 65% or better support for Trump, especially with the other choices that are left. 65% is way to low, but reality bites and social engineering works - if we sit on our thumbs and let it.....
Hillary hung herself w/ this stunt, IMHO.

Let’s see, the MSM inflates numbers against repubs by 10 fold, so that probably means there were a few people out there.
And, seeing as the dems usually just hire paid protesters, I would imagine there were 2 vets, and the others were just hobo’s they found behind a dumpster who they cleaned up and stuck a sign in their hand for a pack of smokes and a fifth of gin.

All Viet Vets I know HATE the WITCH.
Pretty much a toss up which one is hated more, Hillary Clinton or Jane Fonda.
Both, most of us Viet Vets would rather see thrown out of very high flying helicopters.
Add Kerry plus every fake vet carrying a sign and begging for money. I hate these SOB’s and ask them to show me a VA card or any Vet card. Not one has ever had a VA card. I have never seen a WWII, Korean War, or Vietnam Vet beg.
I have little reason to deal with the V.A.
There is a means test and i make too much for them.
I do not carry a V.A. Card.
But then again i have never begged.
You are wrong as the means test is nothing now. The VA let even my attorney in over ten years ago. He was not in RVN. He was 12-14 years after the war, and; he’s a CAT 8 making over a million a year. That is your decision. The means test means you pay some for drugs etc. You are better off with a good Medicare plan and good MD’s.
