It seemed like an outpouring of veteran anger against Donald Trump: over a dozen former service members protesting outside Trump Tower.
But the reality was more complicated. The protest was actually a coordinated effort, led in part by the Hillary Clinton campaign, to embarrass her Republican rival for his failed efforts to raise money for veterans. It only looked like a grassroots demonstration.
A spokesman for the demonstrators insisted they had no affiliation with any campaign. Later he said the protesters had reached out to the Clinton campaign for press contacts, but that’s all. Then the activist finally admitted that, yes, the Clinton campaign had helped organize the protest....

Despite the abundant sunshine, the group of anti-Trump protesters felt what at first seemed like rain on their parade. High up on Trump Tower, a window-washer was at work, liberally splashing water down on the veterans gathered on the street to protest the Republican presidential candidate.
Marine veteran and Clinton supporter Alexander McCoy is an embarrassment to the Corp.

Because, I don’t know of any of my veteran buddies who like Hillary at all.
Way back in 1992, I went to a Clinton rally in my hometown. There was a guy there with a bullhorn who kept yelling “same s—t, different pile” throughout the rally. I think it fits the Hillary campaign perfectly.
Democrats govern the same way. It's a disgrace and the media refuse to hold them accountable because it fills air time.

Once we landed it was discussed in detail with the defense contractor as it had quickly become public. One of them mentioned that "we would all be getting used to it under the bunch in the WH". He was oh so right!
Another day, another Demonorat rent-a-mob.
If this grew, I suspect a few Marines would settle any of these protests in a matter of minutes.
The most interesting aspect of this story is its source: Daily Beast. That is a left-leaning media group. One has to wonder if the writers are Bernie people? Unlike them to write anything sympathetic to Trump or anyone identified as Republican or conservative.
The Daily Beast’s counterpart is the Daily Caller, a more right-leaning pub, that has had no problem attacking Trump. What an upside down world we’re living in today.
The problem is that the $6 MILLION figure was based on pledged donations, not actual donation. So far, it looks like only about half of the pledges have been made. Clinton’s campaign is showing signs of desperation.
