Rush Limbaugh: Ben Carson not equipped to be president

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh made a rare television appearance Sunday morning, joining "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace to discuss ISIS and the Syrian refugee crisis.

After criticizing President Obama for seeming more angry at Republicans than the terrorists who attacked Paris, Limbaugh moved on to comment about the Republican presidential nominees, offering a glowing review of Donald Trump.

“Donald Trump is, I think, doing a great service,” Limbaugh said. “He is showing that you do not have to fear attacks from media. He's showing you do not have to fear being politically correct or violating political correctness.”(continued)

He didn’t exactly say that. He said he didn’t think he was ready at this point but he and all of our candidates were better than the Democratic field.

Ben Carson is a likable guy but that’s all he is.

I thought he was horrible at the presidential forum in Iowa the other night. He looked like he was sleeping even when he was talking.

That is what I took away from the article as well. There is only one candidate that skates toward the Dems. And I would vote for him before I would vote for the Liar or The Socialist.

Dr. Carson is not a bad man. His foreign policy (or lack thereof) kind of lost me.

What made me curious, Rush was never asked about Rubio. He was only asked about Trump, Carson, Cruz and Bush.

At 6 p.m. I turned on FOX to watch the repeat of FOX SUNDAY, they brought in Harris to do a ‘news report’???, then at 6:06 she said she would return at 7 p.m. but now we join Chris Wallace in progess!!!!

AND THE TRUMP INTERVIEW WAS OVER? AND IT HAD RUBIO ON...

SO turned FOX off and returned to Sunday Football...

Running for President takes 20 years (minimum) of HARD WORK as in 1500 hours of studying per year. One cannot do that when they’re rewiring people’s brains and hanging out in medical journals, which is what Carson was doing less than 2 years ago.

He’s HUMAN. He has more than contributed to mankind, certainly more than I’ll ever contribute - but no, he can’t do what he’s done and still be ready for the top job.

There are ONLY TWO I think are ready for the presidency. Cruz and Trump. I pray they team up as the primaries begin.

I also pray that Paul Ryan loses his seat. I’d hate to lose to a demo, but it would let us choose another speaker. He doesn’t deserve to be.

Rush has been critical of Rubio lately on some issues. Fox is protecting Rubio, so they didn’t give Rush an opening to say anything about him.

I got mad at Fox a good while ago. About the only one I will watch is Cavuto...If I remember and am at home.

It would be well worth the trade. If I lived in Ryan’s district I’d support anyone trying to primary him, and yes I’d vote for a dem just to be rid of him. Well worth the trade, IMO.

He is intelligent. If these were different times, which they never will be again, I wouldn’t have a problem with Carson. But truthfully, the way he has been treated in the press makes me realize we will never have a “citizen” candidate.

My boss was asked several years ago to run for office. He just shook his head and chuckled. He would have been an excellent president. Good with people, good in administration and very strong.
