Reuters: Trump, Bush Locked in Dead Heat; Rubio Sinks to Tenth Place
Breitbart ^ | July 11, 2015 | Matthew Boyle

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Real estate magnate and 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has skyrocketed to Republican frontrunner status, as a new poll from Reuters/Ipsos has Trump tied for first place with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. The rest of the pack is far behind them.

Trump pulled in 15.8 percent, compared to Bush’s 16.1 percent in the poll of 404 self-identified Republicans taken from July 6 to July 10. Since the poll’s credibility interval is 5.7 percent, that puts both Bush and Trump in a league of their own atop the field as the next best candidate, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who doesn’t even break 10 percent.

What’s perhaps most interesting is that Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) has begun sinking heavily in the polls, as he’s well behind most of the Republican candidates—he’s now in tenth place, well out of contention—clocking in at just 3.9 percent in this poll...

Rubio will make a fine student body president some day.

Bush hasn’t a prayer. Jeb is the Bob Dole/John McCain loser type of candidate all the way.

Goldman Sachs apparently supports Jeb ....or Hillary...apparently the top dogs there said they’re fine with either one of them.

Maybe it is time for a businessman to run this country like a business. I watched his AZ speech today and all his remarks were on point with my own. I did not consider him a legitimate candidate until I saw his hour long speech.....a little long winded, but made very good points the entire time. I think he may have a chance.....and will steal the show at the debates....without a doubt.

Notice that they have a blocker from most of the critical states lined up, Graham for SC, Rubberio for FL, Kasich for OH, Pataki for NY, Santorum for PA, Gilmore for VA. Favorite son candidates in the race solely to draw off votes. The lower Yeb Bush polled the more they recruited into the race. The RNC knows they are going to have a harder time nominating their designated loser this time.

That is a brilliant point. I never considered it before and I agree that it sounds very logical that this is exactly what they are doing.

He’s Jeb Exclamation Point, not Jeb Bush for a reason.

You would think that they would know that they don’t have a viable candidate when they have to resort to tricks like this.

But I guess not. 100+ Million dollars will make consultants do many things.

Could anyone possibly have a logical explanation for supporting Jeb Bush?

His wife isn't nearly as ugly as Moosechelle?

Anyone named “Bush” couldn’t get elected meter maid in this country.

I tell people I've been bush-whacked and am-bushed enough and I'm just plain bushed-out.

If that’s their master plan it will backfire. It’s more likely those guys will draw from Bush than Trump.

“so says former president ross perot”

Ahem, Perot was never President, and Trump is running as a Republican, not 3rd Party as Perot did. Apples and oranges.

Turning this into a Joke Vs Hoax primary and sideline conservatives like Ted is their whole strategy. Jen and Donald are playing everyone like drums.

Walker is fizzling, Christie hasn’t a prayer, Jeb’s last name is still Bush, Rubio’s sinking, Pataki (who?), Linda won’t even place in SC, Rand has the dope smokers, Huckabee and Santorum are running for TV deals, Carson is a sad joke, I’m getting close to raising for Ted what Fiorina has in total and Kasich is another Huntsman. I actually think Ted is in a good spot right about now.

If Rubio was smart, and I’m not implying that he is - he would hang onto that Senate seat. His presidential bid is going no where, but down the tubes. Just why is he running anyway? What does he bring to the table? I ask the same question of the other candidates. They, for the most part, are cut from the same GOPe cloth - with the exception of Cruz. I’m not sure about Walker yet, but, he has waited so long to enter the race. He isn’t an inspiring speaker. I think Donald has that in spades - even with his plain way of talking.
