I can't see Bush signing this monster. If he does he can kiss my vote good bye in '04 since signing says he doesn't care any more about the Constitution than the average Dem.

Scary to think how closely that resembles George Orwells "1984".

Scary to think how closely that resembles George Orwells "1984". Very true.
How about the public school 'village' and Animal Farms' puppies?

I can't see Bush signing this monster. Well, that's not what the smart money says. Most insiders believe he will sign it and depend on the Supreme Court to overturn it. If so, he's a coward. I hope he's not.
To: Joe Bonforte
We all think it can't happen here. Liberty is so rare in the history of mankind. We're been extraordinarily lucky to have preserved our freedom as long as we have. Maybe we've taken it for granted that we don't realize just how much we're in danger of losing it. Let's roll --- and redouble our efforts to get the Valentine's Day assault on the First Amendment defeated.

CFR is a joke. It's unenforceable. They already break existing laws...punishment, a small fine (never charged 'til
after election). There aren't enough police, judges, courtrooms or jails to hold the # of Americans who know their God-given rights include the right to speak the truth before an election.
That Grandpa, willing to break the law to educate his son, would have kicked McCain's butt from DC to the Canadian border. (^:

FYI - Here's a quote from today's Rush Limbaugh show that is posted at the top of his website...
"Asked point-blank on This Week, on January 23rd, 2000, if he would veto McCain-Feingold or Shays-Meehan, Bush said that he would. Will he? He's an honest man." - Rush Limbaugh Radio Show, 2/20/02
Let's hold The President to this campaign promise!!!!!!!

The Democrats are up to their old tricks to get around campaign reform already. A paper called The Hill had an article that says the democrats will raise hard money, give it to their special interest groups to gather donators, and have the new interest groups members donate it back along with the old members.
