There is a forum on Paltalk called, quite simply, by most of us, the Patriots Room. Several times a week they broadcast on the Crusader Network. Last night was one of those times.

Before the show started last night, MJ-GA sent me a file with this little story in it. I played the part of the grandmother and MJ was the grandson.

Several things crossed my mind while I was reading it: (1)This scenario is so familiar, it sounded like Nazi Germany and the USSR, (2)How close we are to becoming just like them and (3) fear (cold, deep penetrating fear).

How like the novels "1984" and "Animal Farm", we were allowing ourselves to become. The worst part is that it is "WE" that are allowing it,"WE" that can stop it, but haven't because of the mind-numbed, dumbed-down people that "WE" have become.

What do "WE" intend to do about it? Will "WE" have to suffer the loss before we realize what "WE" have given up? When will "WE" take the necessary steps to retain what is ours? How will "WE" do it?

Now go back and substitute the word "I" for the word "WE".

confiscate all weapons

Nah, just develop weapons so far beyond what most of the people have that they can't hope to win, and make and/or keep them restriced. Better to let the peons think they can fight back until the trap is sprung--keeps them from struggling before everything is in place.

"If so, he's a coward. I hope he's not."

You should try thinking before making statements like that one.

The Bill is clearly unconstitutional, a presidential veto only temporarily holds the bill back, it can come back again, and again.

A passed law that's declared unconstitutional is dead forever.

Now I ask you, which of the two is the best scenario for the American people?

"Step 2, confiscate all weapons."

That's actually step one. The only reason why it has not been overly successful is that too many patriotic Americans are aware of the 2nd A. and cherish it deeply.

The Bill is clearly unconstitutional

"I do solemnly swear, that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America."

Some of us actually expect him to honor that oath.

....and my recent e-mail to our esteemed Sinators.....Stabusnow and Carl Lenin...........
Dear Senator

I am writing this to you to voice my disgust at this UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill that has passed the House of Representatives. All those that voted in favor of this so-called legislation broke their oath of office to UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES. Thank God that my representative did NOT vote for this unconstitutional legislation, or he would get an earful from me.

Based on your political affiliation, and your past voting record for liberal causes, I know how you will vote on this issue.

You and your fellow Senators took an oath upon entering office that you would UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES.

Passing this legislation is not only in VIOLATION of your oath of office, it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and is nothing short of a VIOLATION of the 1st Amendment of the CONSTITUTION.

"Congress shall make NO law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"

I added the EXACT words of the 1st Amendment, in case you have forgotten them.

This so-called legislation will violate the above amendment, and you know it.

You CANNOT vote for this bill in good conscience. It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

I am a VERY concerned citizen of the great state of Michigan, and I am TIRED of seeing this kind of frontal assault on our Constitution.

The Federal government, especially Congress, is out of control.

Support the United States of America. Vote against this illegal legislation.

Sincerely, XXXXXXX

Get mad, baby.............

I expect the Congress to honor that oath.

I expect them NOT to write unconstitutional bills. You expect nothing of them?

YOu just want to say bad stuff about Bush, the hell with everything else, right?

You're ignoring the possibility that, even though the bill is "clearly unconstitutional", it will nevertheless be upheld. Bush took an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Ducking that responsibility, and hoping someone else will bail him out, is cowardly. There's no other word for someone who will gamble with our freedom for political advantage.

I don't expect the Executive Branch to interpret the Law, anymore than I expect the Legislative Branch to command the armed forces, or the Judicial branch to legislate from the bench.

IF you DO believe in the constitution, then let it work as it is supposed to work.

THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE, Taylor Caldwell, page 39 The Chief Magistrate had been right. There was no hope in the masses of the people. They would listen to no last brave voice. They would not revolt, until others led the revolt. The workers of America had betrayed America, as they had betrayed Germany and Britain. Always, the workers are the prey of tyrants, out of ignorance or greed or envy.

You know, you have a point there. I'm glad you reminded me to bash Congress too.

Everyone in Congress who voted for CFR violated their oath of office and the Constitution. They are unworthy of their offices and should be recalled.

And while I'm at it: If SCOTUS upholds this unconstitutional law, they'll be violating the Constitution and would be unworthy to hold their positions as well.

And all the American people who voted for all those officials responsible for writing, passing and upholding CFR are unworthy of the freedom our ancestors fought so hard to leave us.

If there's anyone else I forgot to mention, please let me know.

Why then, does the executive branch hold veto power over the legislative branch?

Does the system of checks and balances escape you?

You seriously have no expectation for the executive to consider the constitutionality of legislation it signs into law?
