Dear SenatorI am writing this to you to voice my disgust at this UNCONSTITUTIONAL bill that has passed the House of Representatives. All those that voted in favor of this so-called legislation broke their oath of office to UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES. Thank God that my representative did NOT vote for this unconstitutional legislation, or he would get an earful from me.
Based on your political affiliation, and your past voting record for liberal causes, I know how you will vote on this issue.
You and your fellow Senators took an oath upon entering office that you would UPHOLD the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES.
Passing this legislation is not only in VIOLATION of your oath of office, it is UNCONSTITUTIONAL, and is nothing short of a VIOLATION of the 1st Amendment of the CONSTITUTION.
"Congress shall make NO law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,"
I added the EXACT words of the 1st Amendment, in case you have forgotten them.
This so-called legislation will violate the above amendment, and you know it.
You CANNOT vote for this bill in good conscience. It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
I am a VERY concerned citizen of the great state of Michigan, and I am TIRED of seeing this kind of frontal assault on our Constitution.
The Federal government, especially Congress, is out of control.
Support the United States of America. Vote against this illegal legislation.
