Talk is cheap.

Their fruit is how they are really known.

Their *pastor* is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

They had some phrases in their mission statement and core values that sent up red flags.

We didn’t care anyhow since we wouldn’t have aborted regardless

But they sure push it

We talk care of my 88 year old mildly retarded from birth aunt

Lucky her she was born in 1926 before all this screening and Roe.

I wonder what % cull when they know

“Their *pastor* is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

Why do you think I posted this????

“Local New Mexico-based pro-life advocate Tara Shaver tells LifeNews she was contacted by the pro-life community in Lubbock,........Shaver is concerned that the Christian church the couple attends in Texas is counseling them to have an abortion, or at least defending the decision because the baby is disabled.”

How did you miss that? I didn’t and the people in Lubbock sure didn’t.

Sort of a trend. Combine the word Christian with a behavior condemned by God. It makes it okay, apparently.

At this point, it is still hearsay, but often those in the trenches are in the know.

Well, I would hope the concerns are not valid but have a bad feeling they are.

It’s not going to work out well for any people who do that.

Protestants have decided that artificial birth control is O.K. (20th century), divorce and remarriage is O.K. (adultery) and now killing your handicapped children is O.K.

How do they differ from atheists???

You have a bitterness in you which desires all ‘protestants’ be slandered. You have a hatred for the individuals ... That says much more about you than it does about the object of your slander. After the Rapture, you can come to my house and get what you need for survival from among my meager weapons and food stuffs. I won’t be needing them.

All Down's newsborns are adoptable, even if they need corrective surgery for some common co-defects like esophageal atresia. I can't document that, but that's what an adoption-activist friend with wide experience told me.

About a year ago (?) there was a couple in a similar situation, and their pastor said wait up 48 hours, and I'll find you an adoptive couple that will gladly take the child. Word spread fast through the social media and in 48 hours I think he had almost 100 offers.

I didn’t get a bitterness vibe from the previous poster, and there was no threat to kill protestants either. However, I’ve seen the attacks against Catholicism on this forum whenever a Catholic is in the news, so maybe you should remove that plank from your own eye, lol.

Terycarl, I object. Your remark is strictly uncalled-for. Not all Protestants approve contraception, not all Protestants are OK with divorce-remarriage (consecutive adultery) and CERTAINLY not all Protestants would approve of killing this blameless child.

Why do you want to turn it into a detraction against all Protestants?

-— 70-90 percent of unborn babies with Down syndrome are victimized by abortions. -—

So very sad.

Here is a link to a beautiful 2 minute video called “Dear Future Mom” that puts things in a more Christian perspective:

“If the baby is imperfect kill it. By their logic let it be born where you can really check it out and kill it then if it doesn’t suit you”

Something like that was tried before a little less than a hundred years ago. It came under the rubric of “a life unworthy of living” as described by jurist Karl Binding and his co-author Alfred Hoche, a psychiatrist. The argument went something along the lines that the brain damaged had no quality of life.

In the original German in 1920 the phrase was “Lebensunwertes Leben”. This occurred during the short lived Weimar Republic, which soon was to be replaced by the National Socialist government. They took that law and began expanding it to suit their own definition concerning which lives were unworthy of being lived.

Nope, no bitterness here at all, everybody is responsible for their own behavior....I don't care what you do....I just pointed out how protestants have perverted Christianity since the revolution.....it is very sad. and your reference to the so called rapture is one of them.

Not all protestants believe anything and that's one of the problems....Protestants, as a group, have decided to redefine what Christianity stands for.....every one, possibly not, which there are thousands of different and varied beliefs among them....That's the point that I was making....once the revolution took place, they decided that they could change Christian teachings, moral values, whatever just to suit their various needs.

And if the Catholic church were still in control, we'd have the perfect world, just like we did during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition when the Catholic church was the only show in town. Right?

Problem is, NOBODY is perfect. There are flaws that can be found in each and every one of us.

And IMO, the bigger flaw than the imperfect baby, is the moral flaw in the couple that wants to kill it for any reason.

The physical flaw is way less a problem than the moral flaw that would perpetrate such evil against another human being. The physically flawed individual may have an effect on another’s life, but the morally compromised person puts the lives of others in jeopardy, something that physical flaw doesn’t do.

You're contradicting yourself.

On one hand you are broad brushing Prots as a group for the same moral failure and on the other hand you are claiming they have thousands of differing beliefs.

Which is it? Will you make up your mind and at least show some consistency?
