For those interested, the Greek words are ‘sodomite’ and ‘catamite’. Pitchers and catchers.

Homosexualtiy was EXPLICITELY condemned under the law of Moses.
Also was condemned under the law of the patriarchs.
What about Woman on Woman Sex. I’ve always found it disturbing that the Bible is vague at best on that.
The ESV translates those NT verses similarly too:

9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practise homosexuality,[b]
Footnotes:
a. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Or wrongdoers
b. 1 Corinthians 6:9 The two Greek terms translated by this phrase refer to the passive and active partners in consensual homosexual acts

the sexually immoral, men who practise homosexuality, enslavers,[a] liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound[b] doctrine,
Footnotes:
a. 1 Timothy 1:10 That is, those who take someone captive in order to sell him into slavery
b. 1 Timothy 1:10 Or healthy
“while the 2011 translation changes the phrase to “men who have sex with men.””
Which specifically excludes lesbianism. Apparently that’s ok - I’m sure no one has questionable or perverted motives for making this decision.
One aspect that tends to get forgotten in many debates on this issue is that part of the reason the Bible opposes homosexual behavior is the fact that it’s anti-procreative. Nations and churches don’t build over time when folks do not reproduce themselves. Every homosexual sex act thwarts and frustrates the reproductive process by definition. Even homosexual persons know they have to reproduce heterosexually(whether by IVF or the old-fashioned way) since there is no such thing as homosexual reproduction.

‘And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’
NIV is the WORST translation, based on style alone. My pastor would use that and I would follow with the KJV or NKJV. Some of the constructs are so clumsy it makes my hair hurt.
Jeez, didn’t God get the memo? It’s the 21st Century! Will and Grace, Glee, that fag on Extreme Home Makeover, etc.—the Bible needs a fresh reboot so we don’t make those sweet people feel bad!

The KJV has ALWAYS been clear on the subject. And it’s easier to read.
King James Version ONLY! No Westcott and Hort apostasy EVER!
The HIV Translation?
I do not know how it could be any more clear than any of the translations i have read, but they can sell new Bibles.
