As I posted to WKB upthread, I’ve been wondering about that, too. It doesn’t seem fair to single out men.
Not vague at all to me...
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Two women can’t actually have sex.
Male homosexuality is more destructive to the social order than female homosexuality. A male homosexual is unlikely to marry and raise a family (unless he's trying to hide his orientation). He's more likely to engage in self-destructive hedonism and his method of sexual relations spreads disease readily.
Up until fairly recent times, women who liked sex with women still needed a husband to support them, and they still needed to keep him sexually satisfied. Adultery with another woman was also less destructive to the marriage than adultery with another man (which would have the husband question paternity of his children).
It’s clearly addressed in Romans 1:26-27
Homosexual behavior is not condoned by the Lord, regardless of gender.
