It's Time To Wake Up, Again
by Jon Alvarez

Wake up America! We're falling asleep again. I say this because people I talk to, letters printed in local papers, and poll numbers all indicate that Americans have already fallen back into their old routines. Who could have ever imagined that within two years of 9/11 President Bush would appear vulnerable to a Democratic Surrender Monkey? Who could have imagined that terrorism would not be at the top of the list of American concerns? Since 9/11 we have been in a state of war, yet the media and the Democrats have been waging a war of their own within this country. Their campaign to spread misinformation and mistruths concerning this war seems to have made an impact on the minds of many Americans. My fear is that while we have been very successful in fighting the war on terror abroad, these two groups will weaken that effort, which could result in future attacks on American soil. Their anti-Bush lullaby appears to be working.

Today, more than ever, it is widely accepted that the American public is still greatly misinformed and somewhat irresponsible concerning knowledge of current events. Their knowledge of current events and subsequent opinions come from the brief news clips they see on national news broadcasts. They are still asleep. The evident bias in the media and how it reports events concerning the war on terror is only now coming to light. This is not only an abuse of public trust; it is also irresponsible and dangerous. So while the media, the Democratic Surrender Monkeys, and the citizenry of America appear to be focused on the lack of WMD found in Iraq and thus, the lack of justification for the war, we should be focusing our attention on WHERE those WMD actually are. We are ignoring an opportunity to connect the dots, so to speak, before the next big terrorist attack. Instead of pushing forward with the war on terror, to destroy terrorism where it lives rather than on the streets of our country, the media and the left seek to silence the drums of war. We have the terrorists on the run, yet rather than pursuing them further, the Democratic Surrender Monkeys prefer to negotiate with them, to reason with them.

Who amongst the Democratic candidates will history look upon as this generation's "Neville Chamberlain", promising peace in our lifetime as they negotiate a peace treaty with Al-Quada? Will President Bush play the role of Winston Churchill, pushed to the sidelines while his fellow politicians appease evil, only to be called upon in time of crisis? When will these WMD show up on our doorstep? The next time terrorism decides to visit America; it surely won't come empty handed. Will we one day be faced with an America where news reports lead off with "another chemical attack in another American city, details to follow"?

By all accounts, the international community agrees that Saddam Hussein possessed certain WMD, some in large quantities. If they are no longer there, then the laws of physics state that they must be somewhere else. The rationale that Saddam secretly destroyed his arsenal should carry no weight until proof confirms that. There would be physical evidence of that, which we have also failed to locate. Thus, we must consider the likely possibility that these WMD were passed on to terrorists. Evidence confirms that Iraq and Al-Quada did have a relationship. Is it so far fetched to imagine a sadistic killer supplying weapons to an ally in order to inflict death and destruction on a shared enemy? Could the events at the United Nations preceding Operation Iraqi Freedom have actually caused enough of a delay ALLOWING for the distribution of WMD?

We are not prepared for what could become an even greater sucker punch than the one we received on 9/11. Our guard is down and our borders remain as open as ever. Dr. Condoleeza Rice admitted to Bill O'Reilly the other night that we can't effectively seal our borders because we are such an open society. Heck, an illegal alien can now acquire a drivers license in California. This is a perfect time for terrorists to hit us. We once again feel insulated from attack. I do not wish to be a modern-day Cassandra, predicting the future while no one listens, only to see that prediction come true.

More people have become involved since 9/11, which was their wake-up call. Patriotic Americans, many of whom equate the survival of America in the war on terrorism to the survival of the Bush presidency, continue to combat the liberal left. We've awoken to see firsthand how the left have been slowly eroding the foundations of American culture. More are joining us in combating the proponents of liberalism in America. That's why the anti-American left has become so shrill in its support of the Dean campaign and so vociferous in its attacks on President Bush. We're waking up and they don't like it. Our enemies on the left feel threatened by our patriotic pride; they recoil from the flag, preferring to burn it to prove a point. The fight is on to win over the minds of those Americans who have not yet joined the fray, those who are still asleep. The network news, the Democrats, and the anti-war left all oppose President Bush and a strong show of force versus terrorism. It is sad to note, that Al-Quada and their terrorist brethren feel the same way. Wake up America! Like Paul Revere riding thru the night, patriots everywhere must awaken those that sleep before Al-Quada does.

It's frightening but I think you're right! In a one-hour episode of Gunsmoke,Matt Dillon pretty much wrapped things up!!In fact, before it was a one-hour program,he did it in 30-minutes!!!The last time America was involved in an elongated(military/economic)committment,it turned into a complete disaster costing us some 58,000 KIA and untold billions in treasure!!!!WWII was fought, won, and endured by the parents of today's baby-boomers!!!!!I think it's time for The American people to"Crack The History Books"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

America seems to have gone to sleep both spiritually and practically.

This is what happens when a nation forgets God and common-sense.

We have grown ignorant of our Founding, ignorant of our birthrights, ignorant of decent judgement and ignorant of the enemies that have vowed to destroy us.

This is because Americans willingly listen to the emoting imbeciles of the Judgeless Class, the Diversity Crowd, the Leftist Media, the Socialist Hollywood Cabal, and the High Priesthood of Elite Secular Lawyerdom to keep them informed of life, liberty and the pursuit of endless rights not named in our Founding Documents while they prohibit and abolish the ones that are.

Revisionism feels better than the harsh out-of-date and out-of-touch dead intents of wig-wearing White Men that are constantly maligned. We think we have evolved to a more perfect form of liberty, thinking our shackles are lovely bracelets.

All life has become a circus of politics and emotional wants and needs. No one trusts their neighbor with liberty, and government has become the almighty king to settle dispute, provide sustenance and bring happiness.

Can we wake up as a nation and Republic under such a selfish drugged-condition?

One has to wonder.

thx

found this today:

Is America engaged in a major international war that requires a massive and prolonged response? If so, mustn't we act before terrorist threats become imminent? ...If so, isn't it smarter to fight the war on terror in the streets of Baghdad than the streets of Brooklyn?"

Good God. Someday, Conservatives will awaken to the key to the success of political power in America.

What is the key?

Read on to find out, if you dare.

Schwarzenegger's got it. Reagan had it. Dad Bush did not and lost. McNader doesn't have a chance. Senate leader Lott and now Frist were AWOL on this quality, and it has seriously undermined the Bush administration because of their lack of it. Buckley, in spite of his intellect, never had it. Neither does Will. But Rush - the man practically invented it and sweats it from every pore. Miller's got it. Coulter? Oh yeah, she carries the torch proudly. It saved the 2000 election, and is the only thing that will save America.

Does W. Bush have it? Yes, but he's reluctant to use it unless he feels he must, when it is sometimes too late. He needs to get it front and center, flat out, no holds barred. He is isolated by advisors who do not have this quality, nor understand how important it is.

What is it?

No, it's not the Segway.

It is the Power of the Warrior Crusader, the fierce and menacing street-wise take no enemies Freeper Conservatives.

Freepers are largely responsible for taking back the election in 2000 with grassroots robust protests and effective dissemination of the truth at a time when our entire lives and futures could have turned on a more passive approach.

Like our forefathers who created this great nation, Warrior Freepers share a burning desire to protect and advance freedom and liberty in the world, and to expose and destroy the Evil of creeping Socialism. We have a deep, immovable passion for America, and we are Good.

It is my opinion that the foremost quality for nominating a candidate for future political office in the new millennium is simply this (to paraphrase Elaine on Seinfeld:) IS THAT CANDIDATE WARRIOR FREEPER WORTHY?

If not, no amount of intelligence, qualification, or experience can make up a lack of this quality.

Almost nothing else matters. To be a Trent Lott sitting-duck, or a Bill Frist debating with the demagogues Schumer and Rangel, you need to be a courageous fighter first and foremost to penetrate the left-wing media conspiracy, withstand and anticipate the lies and deception of the Socialists, and get in the faces of the voters.

The Liberal Liars rely on the good-natured and pious polite intelligent conservatives of years past when they spread their deception and shamelessness across the air waves directly to the voters.

But now, Warrior Freepers are holding these weasels accountable, by their throats.

You are either WARRIOR FREEPER WORTHY, or you are not a qualified Conservative candidate.

WARRIOR FREEPERS RULE THE EARTH.

I am giving you a standing ovation in my living room! Not one line in this I disagree with, and it is well written and all too true. You have expressed my fears and anger magnificently!
Something evil is at work here, more than just partisan politics.

Kuwait foils Iraqi-WMD smuggling attempt
Report: Biological warheads, chemical arms en route to Europe snagged

Following months of frustrated searches by hundreds of U.S. and British investigators for Saddam's weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, some have turned up in Kuwait, according to Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyassah.

The pro-government daily reports Kuwaiti security forces foiled an attempted smuggling of $60 million worth of chemical weapons and biological warheads from Iraq to an unnamed European country.

Citing an unnamed security source, Al-Siyassah said the smugglers had been under surveillance since they arrived in Kuwait and were arrested "in due time."

No details about the suspects, possible accomplices, where the weapons came from in Iraq and how they were acquired were disclosed.

The smuggled arms will be turned over to an FBI agent by Kuwaiti Interior Minister Sheik Nawwaf Al Ahmed Al Sabah, according to the paper. No time was given for the news conference where this handover is slated to take place...

I agree with you. I talk to people about this all the time, and they either don't care, or they stick their heads in the ground; ignoring the issue.

To be honest, I am not surprised that memories of 9-11 seem to be fading among the sheeple. The media, of course, would be only too happy to bury it down the memory hole, because they know memories of it and of how Bush has handled the response to it can only help Bush. But three years is a lifetime in politics, so unless there is a proactive effort to remind the sluggish-minded sheeple that we now have a President who is willing to forcefully stand up to the murderers and barbarians who want to kill us all, I am afraid it will make little difference. They will look at the list of Rats who do nothing but promise that more material largesse will be doled out (at taxpayer expense) and pull the lever for whomever they think will give them their perceived due entitlement.

Bush and the Republicans need to be aggressive, and in that context I agree with your post. They need to remind voters that Bush is not afraid to use military force to stop the killer thugs, and get them where they live. Let the Rats scream about Bush "using" 9/11 in a political sense. Hell yes, I say. If a Rat were in there, would they not use it? You bet your a$$ they would. Bush should do no less. National security is a valid issue, and Bush has the goods on them on that score, and they know it.

I think the proper term for them is “News Challenged”. A more pedestrian label would be “Plain, Fu_kin' Stupid”.

They watch crap sit-coms, crap reality shows, Oprah!, network sNEWz... and if they can breathe they vote democrat!

They are the majority!
