To be honest, I am not surprised that memories of 9-11 seem to be fading among the sheeple. The media, of course, would be only too happy to bury it down the memory hole, because they know memories of it and of how Bush has handled the response to it can only help Bush. But three years is a lifetime in politics, so unless there is a proactive effort to remind the sluggish-minded sheeple that we now have a President who is willing to forcefully stand up to the murderers and barbarians who want to kill us all, I am afraid it will make little difference. They will look at the list of Rats who do nothing but promise that more material largesse will be doled out (at taxpayer expense) and pull the lever for whomever they think will give them their perceived due entitlement.

Bush and the Republicans need to be aggressive, and in that context I agree with your post. They need to remind voters that Bush is not afraid to use military force to stop the killer thugs, and get them where they live. Let the Rats scream about Bush "using" 9/11 in a political sense. Hell yes, I say. If a Rat were in there, would they not use it? You bet your a$$ they would. Bush should do no less. National security is a valid issue, and Bush has the goods on them on that score, and they know it.
