THE 'GAY SPIN ZONE'
American Family Association ^ | August 21, 2002 | Stephen Bennett

Posted on 08/22/2002 8:01:02 AM PDT by NYer

Day in and day out, America is getting bombarded with 'pro-gay' propaganda. It's relentless. You can't open a newspaper or magazine, listen to the radio, or turn on the television without someone, somewhere pounding the 'glories of gayness' into your brain.

Stories that would never have aired or have been published twenty years ago are now common place. 'Homosexual Male Couple Proud Parents of Quadruplets.' 'Rosie and Gal Pal Kelly Expecting.' 'Male Gay Couple Crowned King and Queen of High School Prom.' What once was considered a deviant perversion, is now politically correct -- and woe to those who oppose this new 'rainbow' morality. Those who disagree with this new 'alternative' lifestyle are called 'hate-filled, intolerant, bigoted homophobes.'

The calculated, planned 'homosexualization' of America by militant 'gays' and lesbians was encouraged well over a decade ago by homosexual advocates Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen in their book After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 90's (1989, Doubleday/Bantam). Kirk and Madsen mapped out a plan to 'turn the tables' on America and switch the bigotry aimed at homosexuals -- to those who would oppose them. The book plays out almost like a prophetic book of the Bible.

The Harvard-trained social scientists in the late '80s issued a call for 'gay' activists to adopt "... carefully calculated public relations propaganda." Their plan came dressed up in marketing lingo: "Desensitize, Jam and Convert." A better word to describe their call to 'homosexualize' America: manipulation. Listen to what the book says -- you won't believe it.

'Desensitization,' write Kirk and Madsen, means subjecting the public to a "continuous flood of gay-related advertising, presented in the least offensive fashion possible. If 'straights' can't shut off the shower, they may at least eventually get used to being wet." Friend, they're not talking about advertising a product here, but advertising homosexuality.

"The main thing is to talk about gayness until the issue becomes thoroughly tiresome," they say. "If you can get [straights] to think homosexuality is just another thing -- meriting no more than a shrug of the shoulders -- then your battle for legal and social rights is virtually won."

'Jamming' is smearing anyone who disagrees with the homosexual agenda. "Jam homo-hatred [i.e., opposition to homosexuality] by linking it to Nazi horror," urge Kirk and Madsen; associate all who oppose homosexuality with images like "Klansmen demanding that gays be slaughtered," "hysterical backwoods preachers," "menacing punks," and a "tour of Nazi concentration camps where homosexuals were tortured and gassed."

Moreover, they add, "Gays can undermine the moral authority of homo-hating churches over less fervent adherents by portraying [them] as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step ... with the latest findings of psychology. Against the atavistic tug of 'Old Time Religion' one must set the mightier pull of science and public opinion .... Such an 'unholy' alliance has already worked well in America against the churches, on such topics as divorce and abortion .... [T]hat alliance can work for gays."

The authors urged homosexuals to cast themselves as 'victims.' By doing so, homosexuals are able to "invite straights to be their protectors."

'Conversion' means "... conversion of the average American's emotions, mind, and will, through a planned psychological attack, in the form of propaganda fed to the nation via the media." Obviously, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Kirk and Madsen's devious plan has succeeded.

CBS. NBC. ABC. CNN. Showtime. MTV. VH1. Even the children's network Nickelodeon. A new 'gay cable channel' is in the works. Over 28 'gay' or lesbian characters or shows are currently on during so called prime time 'family hour.' All are following Kirk and Madsen's grand scheme -- and America has bit the bait. We've been duped. Like lambs, we are all being led to the slaughter.

Stephen Bennett
I hardly watch television at all anymore. I can't stand to take another painful injection of 'tolerance and acceptance.' Unlike the majority of most other 'over medicated' Americans, I refuse to take the pro-gay media's medicine any longer.

One night about two years ago I stumbled across this nation's fastest growing phenomenon -- Bill O'Reilly and The O'Reilly Factor. I was instantly hooked. 8 pm EST, my wife knew where to find me.

Who was this guy? Where did he come from? He told it like it was. He was bold, cocky -- but more importantly, he was right on the money. 9/11. The American Red Cross scandal. The celebrities. Music and today's youth. This guy confronted issues that many wouldn't touch. He was great. 'The No Spin Zone.' Bill O'Reilly was my new hero!

It wasn't long though before my conservative bubble burst and I sadly realized the homosexual movement even got to my 'champion.'

Week after week, month after month, it was obvious the man and network I trusted for 'fair and balanced news' was playing on 'both sides of the fence' on the issue of homosexuality. How could this be? While Bill would report on clearly ridiculous stories involving homosexuality, he would actually accept and promote the lifestyle in others. I began to question this 'former school teacher-turned-Superman' who truly seemed to have a sincere desire for looking out for the 'best interests of children.' But why not on this issue?

It sadly all made sense last week on The O'Reilly Factor as Bill made himself quite clear on his position.

While addressing two lesbians on camera, he told them, [paraphrased] "... Shut up. Over 90% of Americans agree with me and don't want to know about your [alternative] families."

Yet in the next sentence though he smiled, laughed, and said, "... Really ladies, we really appreciate you coming on the show. The reason we have lesbians on is because we want lesbians to watch The Factor."

Sad to say, one by one, even the most conservative crowd in the media are caving into the homosexual's sinister plan.

(As an aside, O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren of Fox News are scheduled panelists at the upcoming National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association National 2002 Convention, September 12-15 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Among the NLGJA's objectives are to "... advocate for the highest journalistic and ethical standards in the coverage of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender issues [in the news], and ... strengthen the identity, respect and status of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender journalists in the newsroom).

Today, homosexuality is chic. It's in. It's big business -- and I guess so are the ratings from the homosexual audience. Yet while the media continues its bombarding of America with homosexuality, unfortunately, America's children are the ultimate casualties.

Innocent little boys and girls are having their childhood ripped from them as they are daily being indoctrinated into homosexuality via their public schools. The homosexual's main goal is to wipe out 'homophobia' in one generation -- by getting the children now.

Homosexual and homo-sympathetic teachers through 'gay' front organizations such as GLSEN (The Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network), PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays), and a host of others are unfortunately accomplishing this.

In public schools across the nation, kindergarten children are being read Daddy's Roommate and Heather Has Two Mommies -- two beguiling books promoting homosexuality and 'gay' parenting. Our little ones are being fed the lie that homosexuality is normal and OK from kindergarten on up.

Bi-sexuality is growing in popularity at a frightening rate throughout middle and high schools across America. Homosexual books such as The Rainbow Boys, featuring a story about two males (an adult and minor) having anal sex while the adult's lover is out of town, are being assigned for student reading -- on your taxpayer dollars and mine.

America's students are being encouraged to be promiscuous and try the joys of homosexual sex, even though the deadly AIDS epidemic continues to infect millions. Latest statistics by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report almost 70% of male infection of AIDS in America is due to homosexual sex.

As a man who once WAS a homosexual until I was 28 years old, with well over 100 men sexually (men whom are dead today from AIDS), I am sounding the alarm and screaming from the mountain tops, "America, wake up!" It's only by God's grace I am still alive and never contracted HIV. Yet how can people be so blind and gullible to the secular media's 'gay spin' and manipulation on this immoral and potentially deadly lifestyle?

Today, I speak nationally and share the truth about homosexuality -- how no one is born that way, how it has everything to do with the childhood and complete change is completely possible. As a father now myself of a little boy and girl, my true heart's desire and passion is for the protection of America's children and I'll do whatever it takes to protect them. My message is not politically correct and many do not like me for boldly proclaiming the truth. I've learned early on whenever you confront sin, don't expect to win a popularity contest.

Kirk and Madsen successfully laid out their game plan for using the media to be the homosexual's main propagandist conduit -- and I am using their own plan as well. However, in 'their' waters, I am definitely a fish 'swimming up stream.'

Earlier this year, my wife and I fell victim to the pro-gay secular media's hammer as we were censored and deliberately misrepresented on national television on CBS/KingWorld's The Ananda Lewis Show. They didn't like our message that homosexuality was not something one was born with and that all homosexuals could completely change. They didn't like the fact that I said I was 'gay' and I completely changed. What even bothered them more was on national television I had the 'audacity' to use those vile and 'forbidden' words Jesus, God, and the Bible. Thus, the pro-gay hammer fell and they deleted the most important part of my story -- how I went from 'gay to straight.' Millions waited to hear how one could change -- and CBS/KingWorld left America hanging. [See Related Story]

That's the secular pro-homosexual media today for you. It's all too common -- and expected. Besides, it does not further nor help their diabolical agenda.

ABC's Nightline and Ted Koppel refuse to have me on. MSNBC's godfather of talk television Phil Donahue says, 'Thanks anyways.' CNN's Larry King, 'No thanks.' Connie Chung says, 'We're not interested.' CNN's Crossfire: 'Don't call us, we'll call you.'

I know all too well what this movement to 'homosexualize' America is all about. I'm a defector -- a traitor -- a 'gay' turned straight. My story and message is one that homosexual activists and the pro-gay secular media want silenced -- and they will do everything necessary to do so. I am the 'fatal' poison to the militant move's deadly and deceitful propaganda of 'love, tolerance and acceptance.' How sad though to think that we now live in day when the tables have been turned, when good is called evil, and evil is called good. May God forgive this nation for our vile wickedness.

Make no mistake about it. America is being seduced and deceived by the homosexual agenda. Our children are being indoctrinated and many are being infected with HIV.

There is a calculated agenda out there. They are after you, but more importantly, they are after your children. Television, radio, newspapers, magazines, and the Internet -- the media is the means. Kirk and Madsen have succeeded.

Beware of the media -- the 'Gay Spin Zone.' You are not being told the 'straight' story.

I think the points have been made on both sides of the question that the Bennett article generated; that the media is clearly pro-homosexual and ignores most anything negative regarding homosexuality.

I'm quite willing to let the matter rest here - this time - and allow readers to make their own decision as to what the truth is. It will certainly be debated many times and we may meet again. Until then, I appreciate your civil approach to what is often a contentious subject of debate on FR.

and which was SECRETLY and ILLEGALLY recorded...

But was nevertheless recorded, which is why we know for a fact it happened. And you cannot prove otherwise, which is what I asked you.

To respond to your quips and sallies would tend, I fear, to encourage a response.

Instead, I shall essay a simple one-line review of your performance:

Your pirouettes are technically proficient, but your choreography lacks esthetic coherence.

You seem to want to bring the topic back to what Bennet said, even though you and I both strayed from what he said to what we have said. Fair enough.

Probably the most important part of Bennet's article in your and my discussion is that he is an ex-gay.

That means that there is help for you if you ever decide you want to be an ex-gay. I accept the fact that you may not want to right now. But you should know that if you ever change your mind the homosexual community will not respect your choice and will not be your friend. They will do everything in their power to prove you wrong, and if you don't relent they will try to hurt you, the way you are trying to hurt Bennet on this thread. The idea that your sexual fetishes are beyond any changing is the most important factor in the gay hunt for societal (self?) acceptance right now, and they won't take your "betrayal" kindly. But there are those who will. Bennet's organization represents one. Exodus International, PFOX, and Focus on the Family represent others.

And I will stand with you every step of the way.

Shalom.

Unfortunately, they do reproduce by preying on young impressionable young boys. The head of a ministery that helps homosexuals leave the lifestyle and some of his clients gave me their observations. Many if not most of the homosexuals had the following in their background;

1. A domineering mother

2. An absent father

3. A horendous homosexual experience as a pre-adolescent or young teenage boy.

4. A melancholy personality

Incidentally, the head of this organization was himself an ex homosexual.

"The main thing is to talk about gayness until the issue becomes thoroughly tiresome,"...

This strategy works. At least it has on me.

I am so sick of hearing this crap from deviant perverts that I no longer give one whit when I read that one of them gets beat up by somebody, gets AIDS, commits suicide, whatever. I'm just desensitized to their preaching and whining.

Why are you talking to me about Christians? And he could indeed win, if he attempted to support his fluff with some substance.

* "Who asked the question? We don't know, but I think that Whiteman HIMSELF asked the question. He's the one that attended with nefarious intend. He stated that his intention was to go there and get something "juicy" on tape. Gee, what better way to record something than to make it happen... Of course, we'll never know… unless Whiteman suffers an attack of conscience and comes forth to tell us just how contrived was that "controversy."" *

Kirk and Hunter were spot on when describing homosexuals in their book After the Ball:

•  The authors say gays tend to deny reality in various ways: wishful thinking, paranoia, illogic, emotionalism and embracing crackpot ideas.

Your attempt to smear Scott Whiteman is so typical of the way the homosexual community operates -- scream "hate speech" or "homophobe" and throw out wild, baseless accusations. While you are entitled to your opinion, it's important to note that the lesbian activist author of the "Context Matters" web page didn't make similiar accusations.

Here's what the Context Matters web page has to say:

Anonymous Question Cards

They then decided to do anonymous question cards, a back-up exercise they had come prepared with. These cards provide youth the opportunity to ask questions they have without risking judgement from their peers or adults for the content of the questions. Anonymous question cards also help guarantee that the material being asked is the students' agenda rather than the adults. (emphasis added)

Ms. Ables provided me with a list of the questions they asked, which she had typed up because the teachers who were present at the next workshop felt it important to know what gay youth wanted to know.

[The list of questions appear on the Context Matters web page...]

The procedure for this exercise was to read the questions in the order they arrived in on the pile of question cards, to turn the question back to the group so peers could do some of the education, and then to add, clarify, or correct any misinformation."

Since this was a back-up exercise the instructors admit they had come prepared with, a more likely scenario is that one or both of the presenters (Gaucher and Ables) wanted the children to be introduced to the topic of "Fisting" and planted the "anonymous" question card themselves.

* "There's historic precedence of Radical Right operatives attending presentations and asking embarrassing questions... there's even historic precedence for the "fisting" question being used." *

And I'm sure you have documentation from yet another homosexual web site to "prove" your wild, homosexist accusations.

* "Finally, if you look at the list of questions that were asked, most of them display an almost amusing kind of quasi-naiveté. But when compared to virtually all the other questions, the "fisting" shows a businesslike directness... the sign of an adult mind at work, in my opinion." *

Ok then, since you insist, let's look at the questions as posted on the "Context Matters" web page:

"Ms. Ables provided me with a list of the questions they asked, which she had typed up because the teachers who were present at the next workshop felt it important to know what gay youth wanted to know."

"These are typed as written originally by the students.

The question asked about fisting was simply, "What is fisting?". I'm having a difficult time seeing how this question "shows a businesslike directness... the sign of an adult mind at work" when compared to the other questions asked. Perhaps you can clear that up for me?

* "Until then we’ll have to assume that the question was asked because someone in the room wanted it answered. And answered it was." *

I think it's obvious to anyone who listens to the "Fistgate" tape" just who wanted the question answered. The conference instructors had their agenda. And we've heard exactly how they answered the question.

BTW, you've stated that the workshop was illegally recorded - that is not true. There have been no criminal charges filed against Scott Whiteman or Brian Camenker. The civil suit you spoke of was instigated by the legal aid group "Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders" as reported in the July 3/July 10 print edition of "The Weekly Standard" (Banned in Boston - Better not complain about the gay agenda for Massachusetts schools, page 17).
