My education was clinical psych and I spent 35 years in corrections around thousands of inmates working with many, reading files etc. I have a little knowledge on this topic. When I say inmates, I should have included staff. Yes, some staff were constant liars.
We know politicians lie, but we should never expect them to and we should hold them accountable when they do. In my life-time I remember the U-2 lie, that the Soviets exposed in such a dramatic fashion. Well if you didn't send the plane you won't mind of we execute the pilot (my words). Viet Nam, I didn't pay the plumbers, I didn't have sex with (fill in the blank). Carter may have been our most ethical president, but he was incompetent.
Was it Blumenthal who when running told about his experience in Viet Nam, lie; and elected and re-elected. Maybe we like liars. And the recent congress member who was run out of DC on a rail. What about the others, schiff pelosi etc. Jan 6, plus two imppeachments based on known lies. They remain in place.
Now we have a president suffering from dementia. Add to that a career-long habit of lying to embellish his reputation and show the audience he has empathy. Even in Hawaii after saying no comment for 5 days. And his empathy dissolved when the chemicals hit the fan in East Palestine. (probably thinks EP is in Israel)
Now he claims he is down with the Lahainians because he too lost a house. But wait. AP says it was a kitchen fire out in 20 minutes and no loss of the house. My favorite lies of Biden, I don't know about my sons business and My other son died in Iraq. Did he say he met Mandela when he was in prison?
My amateur definition is repeating the same lie over and over after it has been publicly exposed as a lie. Lying to enhance the resume. Lying to engender yourself with others to get votes, lying to gain sympathy, lying to be the big shot in the room, lying to protect your criminal enterprise, and so on and so forth.
What to do? Vote him out get him removed (the republicans are obviously impotent), but don't stay silent.

Every single politician in Washington is a sociopathic liar. Some are even psychopaths. The defining factor in whether they get away with their lies is how well they align with the cultural arbiters, e.g., the news media, academia, historians, etc., who are, of course, undividedly radical leftists.
I forgot to mention that most people are vacuous vessels, waiting to be fed lies they are comfortable with.

I’ll give Biden the benefit of the doubt, those years he spent quarterbacking the Pittsburgh Stealers must have led to serious brain damage that may account for his bad behavior. Also he suffered greatly from his heroic efforts at Iwo Jima on D-Day, helping to drive Adolf Mussolini out of Japan.
