The Department of Defense received 155 formal reports of sexual assault at three military academies during the 2021-22 school year — and officials suspect that hundreds more went unreported.
The figure comes from a mandated anonymous survey conducted at service academies to address the likelihood that many young men and women are reluctant to come forward about sexual assault and harassment — an issue that has plagued the military for years…
The survey found that 21.4 percent of female students and 4.4 percent of male students indicated that they experienced unwanted sexual contact, from groping to rape, in the past school year — which could mean over 1,100 students were victims but only 14 percent of cadets and midshipmen went on to report the incident to military authorities, the Defense Department estimates.
Hmmm...there is a pretty big difference between groping and rape. The former can certainly be mis-interpreted (unless you are Al Franken). And some women feel “violated” if you stare at them too long.
Um … serious question; what is the bare minimum action that would be considered sexual assault?

I don’t believe them. Idon’t believe the percentage, and I believe much of it is regret stuff or things that clearly are not sexual assault being exaggerated/turned into/lying about what happened.
I, a girl, spent 8 months in a war zone. The ratio was 70 to one men v women. I never had anything near sexual assault. There was no alcohol (allowed). That might be something

I’m sure the way the survey is written it includes things like making out and someone cops a feel. I asked my daughter how she felt about it. You get one try, the second is a known unwanted sexual grope. Boys need to respect the No or pushed away hand. The alternative lifestyle stuff...I got nothing.
As with XIX there should be no women in US military academies.

The solution is obvious. We must have an all female military.

Don't you know the politicians and feminists are trying to destroy males, especially white males, and soon it will not be adequate unless, upon approaching a female, the male must step aside, get on his hands and knees, bow his head and look straight to the ground until she passes and is at least ten yards past. During the time on the ground the male must apologize to the female for being born and being in her way.
I would also like to see the demographics of the assaulter. My gut feeling is unwanted attention for the women is coming from lesbians in the ranks.
You are probably right. There are not only dykes among the cadets but among the coaches and faculty.
If they made the male on male rape cases/sexual assault with an object case statistics known, you’d vomit.
