Former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani has been subpoenaed in connection with a probe into fundraising efforts following the 2020 election, according to multiple reports.
The subpoena, which was sent in November and first reported by CNN, seeks documents from Giuliani about payments he received during the period when he was filing post-election lawsuits on behalf of the Trump campaign.
The subpoena was signed by an attorney in the D.C. U.S. attorney office and predated the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) appointment of special counsel Jack Smith, though the special counsel’s office has likewise been investigating the inner workings of Save America PAC, former President Trump’s fundraising effort following the campaign.
Other subpoenas sent in recent months have also sought information related to the PAC, suggesting a DOJ interest in following the money flowing in as the Trump campaign falsely claimed widespread voter fraud had stolen the election from the then-president.

Without that word “falsely”, the writer is a journalist.
With that word, the writer is a propagandist.
This one’s been going on for a few months already. Stephen.Miller was one of the first to testify I believe.
It relates to Trump sending out fundraising letters for the explicit purpose of “Election Security” but then using those funds for a large variety of other purposes including serving as his basic operating expenditure account.
This money (originally ~$200M) is what still comprises the majority of what’s left in his “war chest” (now ~$100M) that was most recently used for rallies and other campaign events around 2020.
Most of the legal analysis I’ve read has said that while it constitutes a classic example of “bait and switch” there’s really no campaign finance laws that precent someone from soliciting political donations for ine purpose, then using them for another.

I guess there was not a high ranking government official around to give inside info or access to Sec of State or VP USA.

We need some judges that will start handing down contempt of court charges
against Democrat entities and attorneys for these frivolous suits.
Give the attorneys prison time, fines, and suspended licenses.
Heavily fine entities, and give the principles the same treatment as the
