Less than 10 years remain before the oft-claimed "tipping point" for the planet, but sea ice in the Arctic Ocean is the highest it's been in nine years, increasing more than 30% from last year, while the Antarctic's level is well above normal.
That's according to the Ocean and Sea Ice Satellite Application Facility's High Latitude Processing Center, pointed out climate-change skeptic Tony Heller.

I’ve read a few reports about the slowing of the Gulf Stream. I know that this might disappoint the Anthropomorphic Global Warming crowd, but if the Gulf Stream is slowing then it won’t matter what the CO2 levels are. We’re looking at drastic cooling in the northern hemisphere and advancing of glaciers eventually.
More sea ice on the north and south poles, I mean a lot more.
But the New York Times told us seven years ago that we are looking at The End of Snow.
I see you are right. Seems they were roasting puffins.
Ya gotta watch that sea ice, its VERY smart!
Yeah, and slippery too.
Yes but it’s because the pandemic reduced carbon consumption don’t you know?
These graphs MUST be wrong. Everyone knows that the Biden administration would NOT lie to us. /sarc
If there is more sea ice, it must be global warming.
I think now they call it “climate crisis” so any action is justified.
Global warming causes the ice to expand. All the smart people know this.

Nine year, hmmm? any chance this is part of the 11 year sunspot cycle? Actually, there tends to be 22, 44, and 88 year cycles. Thirty years ago I was saying we would probably have very hot temperatures around 2020 as that would be 88 years after 1932 (dust bowl and depression era).
