Maria Bartiromo just interviewed Don Jr. on Fox News. Don Jr. said, paraphrased, "The top level of the FBI needs to be broken up and moved out of DC. Same for the Dept. of the Interior and other departments so that those leaders can be closer to the people they serve. When Donald Trump is reelected that is what he is going to do."

I’d love to see a cat fight between the mid-western states over who gets the USDA.
I’d like the Government buildings be placed at the geographic center of the 48 continental States. I think government would be a lot more responsive to us if they had to work out of a wheat field in the middle of Kansas.
There was some point to having department HQs in close proximity to each other in the past, but in the age of videoconferencing and remote work, there is NO need for these departments to all be in one place. Move them to the central most points of the areas they are supposed to be in.
The government should be dispersed around the country anyway, in case of attack.
Send most of them to the Arctic Circle.
Send to the wilds. Let their offices be meager. Old dilapidated service stations that have closed long ago would work.
Nah. Relocate it to Peoria, Illinois. The state is already blue so that won’t change anything.
I think several agencies could stand to be spread around the country. Perhaps fort dodge Iowa or some town 50 miles west of fargo
