Amid the surge in gun sales that began in March and continues even now, the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) estimates 40 percent of sales are going to first-time gun buyers.
A report by the Wall Street Journal cites the NSSF estimate, noting that the FBI “processed 7.8 million background checks for gun purchases from March to June.”
The report pointed out that handguns make up the predominant portion of firearms being purchased, and that “nearly two handguns, commonly used for self-protection, are being sold for every rifle or shotgun.”

There is no gun show “loophole”. There is nothing you can legally do at a gun show you cannot do elsewhere.
AR-15s and AK-47s (they’re not AK-47s...real ones are fully automatic...what we buy on the civilian market are not) are not “powerful”. They fire an intermediate cartridge that is WAY weaker than what your great grandpappy fired out of his Springfield rifle in WWI, namely the 30-06.

30 rounds is a standard capacity magazine, not a “high capacity” magazine.
AR-15s are not “weapons of war”. They are and have always been civilian rifles. No military in the world sends its troops into battle with AR-15s or any other semi automatic rifle as their main rifle. That has not been the case for at least 50 years or so.....but the way, a knife can be a “weapon of war”. What the hell is that term even supposed to mean?....other than to scare ignorant soccer moms and the like?

In the last generation, crime and murder have been cut in half even as the number of privately owned firearms has doubled. More guns, less crime.
The places in the US that have particularly high murder rates...ie the places that account for many of the 10,000 or so murders with guns every year....places like Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans, etc all have strict gun control and all have Democrat mayors - and have for generations.

Main thing is to make sure one has a lot of ammo on hand. I think most conservatives started arming when they were introduced to firearms by a family member, and ramped it up a bit when Zero the Kenyan-born Muzzie defiled our country for eight years.

If we apply the NSSF estimate of 40 percent of purchasers being first-time buyers, it would mean roughly 955,000 guns were sold to first-time buyers in June 2020 alone.
So basically 1 million first gun buyers in June 2020.
What % of those new gun buyers will be or become Trump supporters?
