In the case of Kavanaugh there was not a single credible witness, even of her complaining to others, and blasey ford’s statements were 100% contradictory and/or garbled into nonsense.
Reade’s accusations are internally consistent and there are 3 named (and many others) witnesses and a recording of a broadcast with the report of what happened.
In the first case 100% possible to ascertain it never happened. In the latter it is 100% possible to ascertain it did.
Despite their journalistic incompetence, the NYT is aware of enough source material to destroy Biden as a candidate.

You make a good point. However, I think the people see that Trump showed them prosperity with no help from the other side for 3 years. Then COVID hit. Do people really think Imbecile Joe is going to lead us out of this from his basement? I think most people who hate Trump would just choose not to vote rather than cut their nose off. On the other hand, Bernie may be able to convince people that this is a new world order and as such we need to think that way politically - blow up the status quo in favor of a Socialist society. Either way, I think Biden is a weaker candidate by a lot. PLUS.....I don't think he is going to get much support from the far left (which he needs) because they are seething mad that the last two nominations were basically stolen from them.
In any case, just giving him grief is worth it.

I am with you Mort. They demanded that the K nomination process be stopped until the FBI did a complete and thorough investigation. NYT knows the DNC will be quick and the result will be to clear Biden at this late election cycle hour.
NYT also knows an outside party or law enforcement agency investigation will be in the headlines into the summer if not the fall (no WJClinton tarmac meeting this time to get the AG to shut it down); and there will be a finding that Biden ‘s did what he is accused of doing.
The great irony is that Biden voted against Clarence Thomas’ SC nomination b/c “I believed her from the very beginning, but I was chairman. She did not get a fair hearing. She did not get treated well. That’s my [responsibility](**1)” It apparently wasn’t fair b/c Thomas was voted onto the Court.
