A number of people in politics, the media and elsewhere are openly speculating that if Democrats wind up with a brokered convention, with no strong or viable nominee evident, Hillary Clinton might enter the arena as the savior who could unite the delegates and go on to defeat President Donald Trump.
Clinton herself seemed to throw shade at that theory during an interview with Variety at the Sundance Film Festival. When asked about the urge to beat Trump, the former Democratic nominee said: Yeah, I certainly feel the urge because I feel the 2016 election was a really odd time and an odd outcome. But Im going to support the people who are running now and do everything I can to help elect the Democratic nominee.
Several politically savvy Democrats have told me that everything may be a much more plausible and powerful scenario.
That is, Clinton and/or her team could be negotiating with former vice president Joe Biden, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg or the last candidate standing to join the ticket as vice president. She would add the gravitas, delegates and, eventually, millions of votes needed to get them over the finish line on Nov. 5. I am assured that Clinton is on every short list for that position.
If I were in Trumps world, this scenario would send chills down my spine.
There is no doubt that the former first lady, New York senator and secretary of State once again is raising her profile and stepping back into the spotlight to re-engage in political discussions.

Yessiree, she “throws shade” no matter where she goes.
Advice to the eventual Dem nominee:
Epstein didn’t kill himself.
Suddenly President joe’s involvement in the Ukraine is justification to have him removed from office.
President Hillary takes the reigns and saves us from the USC.
Then she nukes Texas.
She doesn’t have that new car smell!
Look, you go around saying for years that you are the BEST choice to be president of the United States. THEN you are saying that you are willing to be second banana to someone else (especially if that someone else is Joe Biden). I mean, I imagine that she always believed that she was better, smarter, more worthy than Bill Clinton ever was. Do you think for a second that she is willing to go through it again with Biden?
Say to the Devil “Get thee behind me?”
Prez, watch your six.
As Dems get more desperate this cycle look for anything to happen.
It was an odd time and an odd outcome, even from my vantage point. Anyone who spent as much money and had other people spend their money and personal credibility to fix the outcome and still did not win, the popular vote or the electoral college vote, can only be attributed to one thing, God is still in control.
That was so subtle everyone missed it.
The life expectancy of the President would drop to ZERO! Who would have her?
LOL! No.
LOL!
If Biden even considers the possibility it means the Clinton’s have dirt on him. Hillary on the ticket would be the kiss of death.
Indeed. Anyone candidate considering such a move should remember this:

nobody without a death wish, anyhow
Hillary would be pleased to be Joe’s Vice President.
There was talk about him being a one-term president if he won.
Maybe as a fall-back if she can’t get the nomination on the first ballot.
But if she is VP, I feel sorry for the president, considering the history of people who became ‘inconvenient’ for her.
