I agree with you. These set ups are disgusting. I understand a lot of media were running after this story but the Times broke it. These leakers are disgusting.

But not every author goes with Javelin literary agency which has been reported to have sent letters to Trump’s staff encouraging them to write tell all’s. Bolton took them up on the offer. They are then shepherded to Simon and Shuster.

Even the NY Post , generally supportive of PDJT, has already dropped the words saying that Trump “WANTED TO” do whatever. Those important words were in the original leak. Bolton is a snake. I never trusted him.

Wasn’t he raving at a gathering about Trump, before the leak came about? I believe it was about military action, a particular one that Bolton wanted and Trump seemed to agree about but then backed down.
Trump thinks hard about anything military and probably also prays about it. According to Amir Tsarfati, Trump put the Iranians to sleep when he didn’t react to the hit on the Saudi oil facility after thinking it over; in other words he held off partly or totally for that reason. Trump is not Bolton is not Trump.
On leaks, anyone who really wants to keep a book from leaking has his lawyer draw up a confidentiality agreement to be signed by everyone the book is sent to.
On S&S, Threshold may be a conservative imprint, but S&S as a whole is very liberal. I consider Threshold to be the most liberal of the conservative imprints. They all actually got more liberal over the years as the two original Regnery editors left. (The publishers did not buy the imprints from Regnery, which didn’t have any separate imprints, but simply hired the editors away when conservative books began to catch on.)
