In a 1981 interview on Today with Phil Donahue, a 39 year old Bernie Sanders says he is "not a capitalist." Sanders had just won his first term as Mayor of Burlington, Vermont.
In explaining his case for Socialism he says, "Do I believe the profit motive is fundamental to human nature? The answer is no. I think the spirit of cooperation - that you and I can work together is better than compete against each other and destroy each other."

And he sets up a Strawman that the desire to acquire leads to destruction because he has acquired a private jet and big bucks from his book deals.
And Bernie is competiting right now for the nomination of the Democrat Party for president. Democrats across the board in the House (like Pelosi), Senate, etc, own businesses that compete against other businesses all the time.
Bernie brings up multi-billionsire corporations here (that he and AOC have railed against) but I didn’t see AOC rail against Tom Steyer giving her campaign $2,700 in 2018. She failed her own purity test.
Bernie, you may not be a “capitalist,” but you are a retromingent idiotic fool, incapable of correction.

And how are they competing with each other? By trying to see who is best at making the lives of the masses better off. What Comrade Bernie wants is to tell everyone what they need and force them all to "cooperate" with each other to see his vision become reality.
Bernie, why don’t you divide your wealth equally and give it to us? Or we could make you feel better by demanding it as a Free Republic tax on 99.99% of your gross income and sales of your mansions.

It’s not hard to see why his followers want him in the White House so bad - how do you expect the poor man to get by with just three houses?
All these commies are like that today, Tom Morello, Elizabeth Warren, Michael Moore who even made a movie bashing capitalism, yet has no issue making millions off it. They are the hypocrites of hypocrites

He looked old even at 39. I’m guessing he had white hair by the time he graduated high school! Being a radical socialist ages a person. Look at how good President Trump looks today at 73 compared to what Comrade Sanders looks like at the present, and what he looked like almost forty years ago. Bernie has always been an OLD and ANGRY socialist!
