Speaker Nancy Pelosi has threatened to withhold sending the notification of the Impeachment to the Senate until she gets guarantees of a "fair trial." Yet public notification has already been given, in the Congressional Record. All that Senator Mich McConnell needs to do is read this record on the floor of the Senate and then proceed either to a trial or a motion for dismissal. If he proceeds to a trial and the House does not send any managers, he could then easily move to dismissal on the basis that the House has failed to present its case.
Nazi Pelousy’s idea of a fair trial is only democRats get to vote. She believes they are the only Senators who are unbiased.
The delay is fine. The house voted in December 1998 to exhibit the Clinton articles. It got around to doing what it had resolved to do, the following January.

And that is exactly true. She does think only Democrats are unbiased and righteous. They will drag this out as long as possible. I have no faith that Mitch can put a quick end to this. The goal is to just have him tied to the word impeachment. It’s like saying someone has Aids, it gets attention of the masses. In reality the Democrats claiming a win is like they won the first 5 minutes of a basketball game, calling timeout and claiming victory.

Adam Schiff went on with Rachel Maddow last night to push their Trump-Ukraine conspiracy — something that was completely debunked everywhere after three weeks of testimony except on CNN, MSNBC and the fake news media.
During their conversation Schiff announced he was going after Vice President Mike Pence next and may have “acquired evidence” that the Vice President is hiding information in the House Ukrainian investigation.
Adam Schiff: Well, we have acquired a piece of evidence, classified by Jennifer Williams, something she alluded to in her open testimony. Then going back and looking through her records she found other information that was pertinent to that phone call that we asked her about and made that submission.
There is nothing that is classified in the document but the vice president’s office has said they are going to classify… It is not proper to classify something because it would be embarrassing or incriminating. And that submission does shed light on the vice president’s knowledge. We think the American people should see it.
Jennifer Williams testified before Congress in November and offered nothing. She worked for Vice President Mike Pence. So now Schiff has Democrats thinking Williams holds the key to Pence’s impeachment.

I’d sit back and let the Dems continue hanging themselves. Any action by the Senate would give them an excuse.
There is no Constitutional requirement that the House formally present the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate; only that the person shall be impeached. This the House did with the adoption of H.R. 755 which reads:
Resolved, That Donald John Trump, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and that the following articles of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate:…The House has given public notice the President Trump has been impeached. The Senate is thus free to schedule a trial. If the House does not follow-up by sending Managers and exhibiting the Articles of Impeachment, then the Senate could dismiss the impeachment on the basis of the House's failure to present its case, just as a judge could dismiss a case if a prosecutor failed to show up for a scheduled trial. The Senate has complete freedom to establish its own rules for the trial.
Pelosi should be arrested and tryed for treason.
