Trump Needs Our Help to Bring Them Home
Vanity

Posted on 10/22/2019 12:37:20 AM PDT by Farcesensitive

The warmongers are pulling out all the stops opposing Trump's attempts to fulfill his promise to bring the troops home and end the endless wars.

They are making noises about supporting the Demoncrats' impeachment sham to pressure him to fold or compromise with them to keep their support.

Other than opposing impeachment the best way we can support Trump and strengthen his hand is to make "Bring Them Home" the focus of 2020, we need to "pressure" Trump to keep that promise and really pressure the Republicans (particularly in the Senate) and not let up until significant withdrawals have been made and wars ended.

We need to leave Syria completely as soon as it is clear ISIS won't be coming back, we need to just leave Afghanistan whether the Afghan government likes it or not and we need to leave every NATO "ally" that doesn't meet its obligations and pay for the costs of our presence. (It would be best to just leave NATO entirely but I don't know if Trump can manage that before Nov. 2020) And the troops need to come all the way home.

I don't know how much of that Trump can do in the next year or so but even just some of it that will be a victory and help ensure his reelection and a Red wave while exposing the leftists as warmongers and hypocrites.

Trump will let us know what he needs... let’s give him the chance to tell us where he needs our help.

The neo-isolationists finally noticed Trump is not bringing the troops home.

ISIS,Al Qaeda,Muslim Brotherhood what's in a name? They will always keep coming back as they have for 1400 yrs. It's the foundation of Islam and to think otherwise is incredibly short sighted and naive.

Perhaps the armchair warriors here on FR who urge other Americans (because it’s never themselves, of course) into harm’s way from their Safe Spaces will pipe down now.

As long as the United States has the finest government that money can buy, the advantage will always be on the side of the interventionists.

There is enough pressure on President Trump right now without his own supporters giving him ultimatums. I’d rather leave it up to him how he wants to play this out.

The Middle East is a tangled mess long in the making, and though extracting ourselves from it may be the right goal, there are no simple or immediate solutions.

We have a President who is very good at problem solving - I say let him figure it out.

Politically, some of us are very passionate and principled about this ... but I honestly don’t think most of Trump’s supporters care about these foreign entanglements as long as there are no body bags coming home and the cost is easy to ignore.

How do you determine that?

You are just a Blame America First Last and Always Troll.

Who since signing onto FR this month will endlessly make the garbage argument that unless someone is in the military they have no right to voice an opinion.

I am not encouraging anyone to do something the did not freely sign up for.

The military is not just for parades.

You are saying President Trump is a weak buffoon.

Nevertheless, you are an arm-chair warrior who is calling for prolonging unnecessary wars. The person who posted to you is not wrong.

I am an American citizen with the right to give my opinion on matters.

Why don’t you two move to North Korea where you can tell the other prisoners who can give a valid argument based on your criteria?

You are a disgrace here.

Let’s agree on a happy medium, then; this would be halfway between a parade and launching violence against His Lunacy John Bolton’s latest idea of who our enemy is.

Let’s use the military only as a last resort, which is something that civilizations have done for millennia.

You can't post to me without hating on America.
Now USA is uncivilized.

Why don't you have the nerve to take on Trump?
Instead you post about "His Lunacy John Bolton’s latest idea".
I have criticized Trump when he is wrong and I have seen some others do so too.
I guess a re-tread troll needs to be very careful.

Let me help you. Tell us all about the lunacy of President Trump (the man who avoided Vietnam because of bone spurs),
According to FOX News and The Pentagon:

Pentagon: Since May, U.S. forces have increased in Middle East by ~14,000: statement. There are currently more than 60,000 U.S. troops deployed to various countries and aboard warships— Lucas Tomlinson (@LucasFoxNews) October 11, 2019

Btw, how is the weather down-under?

You are trying (foolishly) to discredit my voice as a valid opinion. Thereby nullifying it.
Even though I did nothing more than point out troops are not coming home (there is your hyperbole).

Let’s hear you call President Trump an armchair general.
Especially since he avoided the draft 5 times, finally getting a doctors note for bone spurs and yet has sent many thousands of soldiers/sailors/etc to the Middle East.

Waiting...

Forget “warrior armchair” and let’s substitute “snowflake.”

Whether you like it or not, President Trump is the head of our armed forces. Deal with it.

Please follow your own faulty logic more carefully.
