He will be doing both.
They (Wallace and Trace Gallagher) did not say when Wallace will start on the 3 pm weekday show. Gallagher just said it will be in the coming weeks.
Earlier, it was reported that Smith agreed to stay through the end of the year, but Gallagher has been filling for him ever since he announced his departure.
