He will be doing both.
They (Wallace and Trace Gallagher) did not say when Wallace will start on the 3 pm weekday show. Gallagher just said it will be in the coming weeks.
Earlier, it was reported that Smith agreed to stay through the end of the year, but Gallagher has been filling for him ever since he announced his departure.
Too bad, I thought Trace was going to be the replacement. I turned it off the minute he said Wallace was going to be on today, missed (not really) the announcement.
Wallace is not going to help ratings.
Trace Gallagher was doing a good job. Wallace will bring unuseful bias back into the news show. Fox apparently needs to have a few of these anchors to balance the obviously biased Hannity. So I can continue to skip the time period. Fox business is still there on our cable system.
